Team Loyalty!!
Happy Fall! We hope that everyone had a great Halloween and that this month you have a great Thanksgiving holiday spent with friends, family and loved ones. Remember to turn in your ticket request forms as soon as possible to have the best chance at getting the tickets that you want.
Letter from the President
Hello Team Loyalty,
Huge October for us, with record loan growth and record interest. Congratulations and Thank You!! Along with obtaining these great numbers Cody and Team El Camino completed their remodel and it looks GREAT. I know Cody had a lot of help from many Loyalty Pawn team members so I would also like to say Thank You to all that helped out. I know that Cody and everyone with Team El Camino also very much appreciate the extra hands that were there. If you have not seen Broadway or El Camino yet you should swing by and check it out all locations will be going through the transition soon and if you have not seen the new look I feel you will start to get excited about the new look for your store when you see it.
With Halloween behind us, it already seems like Christmas is here. I was shocked to see the grocery stores filled with Christmas decorations and Christmas candy the day before Halloween. It just goes to show how fast the holidays are approaching. I really have no idea where this entire year has gone! For the next two months, I would like to challenge each of us to set a sales goal total for yourself. I set one for me at the beginning of October for Q4(4tht Quarter) of $100,000.00. I did not do great in October with Only about $8,000.00 in sales but I am not discouraged I WILL hit my goal. Sales goals are important for the company and especially during the holidays. Set your goals and reach them. A saying that we learned from the Canadian Group and Smart Financial that I think applies to this goal setting “Be the best at what we do, EVERYDAY”
We are looking forward to implementing many of the tremendous take-a-ways we learned from our visit to the Edmonton, Canada PCG Focus Group as well as the great California Pawnbrokers Conference in Palm Springs. Thank You to all that took time away from their store, their friends and their families, I know that it can be hard sometimes to leave but we try to make these trips fun and not all about work. I do believe that these trips are an invaluable investment to Loyalty Pawn and is one of the reasons we stay on the cutting edge of the pawn industry. I also feel it is the correct business practice to share our business successes and best business practices with our industry families. I feel fortunate to be in this industry every day, I have made lifelong friends in the industry and I truly believe that the Loyalty Pawn family is very much a real family.
Gratefully

A Letter from the General Manager
Hello Team!
Fantastic updates to talk about. If some of you from West Sac, Roseville or Florin haven’t had a chance to head over to Broadway or El Camino, I suggest doing so! Both Broadway and El Camino have had a bunch of work done which has brightened the stores and is following the Loyalty Brand. This work couldn’t have been accomplished without many hands-on deck. Please check out these locations when you can and check out our Facebook and google pages where we have posted pictures of the newly refreshed locations.
As the end of the year approaches, Stan and I are gearing up for successful months of sales for November and December. As many of you have seen, purses have arrived at each location and higher end watches as well. We plan on continuing to get these nicer items in and separated out to the stores. These items are being received well with our customers and we’re happy to see that these items are also being showcased on social media. Let’s keep up the good work and continue delivering our best experience to our Loyal customer in store and online!
Some accomplishments to mention are Roseville had sold the most in the month of October and beat their stretch goal! This is awesome!! The top five salesmen of the month of October are Travis Tobin, Dominic Tognolini, Parker Hush, Hunter Reed and Anthony Ferrari. Keep up the good work! We’re predicting that both November and December are going to be great months for business. Let’s make sure that we are capturing all opportunities with our loan and purchasing customers.
Finally, I’m proud to see the great changes at the stores. These changes truly have made a huge difference and our clients see it. Everyone who has been dedicated and creative during this process, thank you so much. We are living our vision, values and goals!
Sincerely,
Wayne Silliman General Manager

Loyalty Pawn Family
Greetings Loyalty Pawn Family,
This month El Camino did a great job with the new remodel seeing as how we were able to get most of the remodel done in about a 2-day period. The team really came together and worked hard to make sure everything was done on time and with a high level of professionalism. This was a great month for us even with all the work going on, putting up the new slat wall, painting and doing some night work, we were able to perform extremely well and still stay a high performing store with everything. Jonathan and Travis really worked hard and stayed late to make sure we were up and running and the whole crew really kicked butt. We are lucky to have the whole team! If you need anyone to hang ceiling tile come talk to Tyler or Parker because they have become pros at it! I am sure they will love this shout out. Thank you to everyone who came out and we have a great family in this company!
Javi was born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico to a family of 7 total including parents and 5 of those family members have worked for the company. He moved to LA when he was 2 years old then moved to Sacramento when he was 13 and started working for Capital City shortly afterward. He got the job because two of his cousins worked for the company already and they needed a hard worker. He would work the summers in between school years but finally made it a real career choice when he turned 18. The first time he ever stepped foot in a pawn shop was his first day on the job. He could not figure out the door and kept pulling on the door until Dan was able to convince him to wait for the doorbell. (he was one of those). Shortly after not being able to figure out the door he got lost in the back warehouse of Old Fruitridge. Also, He was still the same height he is today, so he needed a stool to see over the counter. He has come a long way from that day and, in what he says is one of his biggest professional accomplishments, recently become our new operations manager for the company and he is doing a great job!
Javi has always been someone that likes to see all his hard work become reality and see those seeds become success. He has been an integral part of the success of this company and helped build the foundations of what we see today in the Loyalty Pawn family. Everything from multiple store remodels, to building an entire Wearhouse, to building one of the best teams in the entire company. Javi feels great accomplishment from buying his own house and being one of the only members in his family to do so. He is looking to buy his second house but that is around the corner sometime soon. He enjoys the few hours he has to himself by woodworking and watching movies and TV shows. He claims that Pulp Fiction is his favorite movie and not because of the pawn shop scene. He loves to build with his hands, learning new things through instructional videos and finding solutions to problems that has gone unsolved. If he has the time, he loves doing sudoku and other brain training games like peg jump.
As the new Operations Manager Javi is looking towards the horizon of bigger and better things including more stores, a more prosperous company and work force, a solidified company brand, a strong company culture and being THE pawn shop to come to in all of California. We see nothing but great things coming.

Thanksgiving Day is November 22nd!
Fall Harvest Festival of Delicious Decadence
Thanksgiving Day a harvest festival observed in the U.S. with immense splendor and grandeur. This auspicious occasion gives us an opportunity to reflect and give thanks for the produce granted at the end of the harvest season. Being a festival of the fall season, it is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of the month of November, yearly. Loads of people gorging on delicious delicacies, watching dazzling parades, the NFL, and spending vacations in awesome destinations are some common traditions practiced on this day. To add to the fun and frolic of this year’s Thanksgiving, I found some funny Thanksgiving poems for you to enjoy!
Thanksgiving 8000 Calorie Poem
May your stuffing be tasty, May your turkey plump, May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize, And may your Thanksgiving dinner Stay off your thighs!

Thanksgiving Ghost
The last piece of apple pie is gone; How did it disappear?
The bowl of delicious stuffing Has also vanished, I fear.
It happens each Thanksgiving, When leftover goodies flee, And each of us knows the responsible one Couldn't be you or me.
The only way it could happen Is readily diagnosed;
It must be the crafty, incredibly sneaky, Still hungry Thanksgiving ghost.

November Birthstone – Dual Stones!
Individuals born in November can choose between two sunny gemstones to brighten up this chilly month. November’s birthstones, topaz and citrine, are both known for their calming energies, bringing warmth and fortune to those who wear them. Topaz and citrine look so similar, in fact, that they’ve often been mistaken for one another throughout history. They are actually unrelated minerals, and topaz occurs in a wide spectrum of colors far beyond yellow.
Both of November’s birthstones are fairly abundant and affordably priced, even in large sizes, which means everyone can find a way to fit topaz and citrine into their budget. Happy birthday to our November babies of Loyalty Pawn!
