Letter from the President

Hello Team Loyalty,

We again have experienced another great sales month, Congratulations!! All locations except one exceeded their monthly projections, but we overall for instore sales. We ended up 20% for the month of April for our instore sales. The pawn service charges were off just a little which is a good number for the drop in our loan balance. We are definitely doing something correct. Awesome job team! I am expecting another few great months of strong sales, and I am also predicting a turn in your loan balance or at the very least a smaller drop in our loan balance and hopefully soon a turn and we start seeing some growth. Two locations did end up growing in April, that is promising. Wayne, Javier, Tony and I have been aggressively trying to fill our showcases and will continue to search for inventory to keep the cases filled and sales up.

We have an exciting event coming up in May. The California Pawnbrokers Associations virtual conference. All locations will have access to this event, and I am sure there will be some great take a ways from this virtual conference. Also, CAPA will be hosting an in-person convention this coming October. This will be the first in person pawnbroking event in California in almost 2 years. Things hopefully will be coming back to normal.

Finally, I would like to wish all the mothers a Very Happy Mother's Day. You all deserve it, I know how hard my mother of eight worked and whether you have one or eight being a mom is physically and emotionally an extremely difficult job, so enjoy your day. That cannot be recognized without mentioning to push those sales on those Mother’s Day gifts!

Gratefully,

A Letter from the General Manager

Hello Everyone,

We’re 1/3 through 2021! This spring and summer we are looking forward to the CAPA spring digital event and NPA event in Texas. What is excellent about these conventions is the access and networking with other business professionals. Whenever we have attended these conventions in person or digitally, we have always walked away with information that we have integrated into Loyalty pawn. If you have not made yourself familiar with others in the industry, please do not hesitate to like, share and friend others in the industry, not only in California but others throughout the US.

The sales leaders for April are Dominic T. who sold $39,792.87, Javier B. who sold $3,132.94, and Paul Molina who sold $21,550.04. Great job gentlemen! It’s nice to see Javier and Paul in the race for first place! Watch out, Dominic!!

Our prediction for the rest of this quarter is sales are going to be hot and our loans will gradually increase as the state continues to open. We expect an increase in foot traffic especially with all the awesome digital content that everyone is contributing to. So far in 2021, we are gradually seeing month over a month an increase in new customers. This gradual increase is adding opportunities, especially to our layaway program. This is excellent and we look forward to seeing our layaway balances grow at all locations.

To conclude, we are eager to find active talent for our teams and more resaleable goods. First, we have a few postings within indeed and some locations have fliers with QR codes directing those to our Careers website tab. We are considering new team members who have a talent in customer service and sales. If any of you have friends or acquaintances that you think would make a great fit, please share our contact details. Second, we are still outsourcing inventory in bulk and will continue to do so. Please let your store manager know if you stumble upon bulk inventory online that we should consider purchasing for resale.

Sincerely,

It’s not about having the right opportunities. It’s about handling the opportunities right. -Mark

Tony Mora

Florin Mall

Hello Loyalty Pawn Family,

Well, where do I start? Great job to Team El Camino for taking 1st place in sales for the month of April. It was a great run to see who was able to take it. Coming into the second quarter Team Florin was able to sell a grand total of $88k in sales that is including an awesome total of $29k in layaway pickup for us last month. We are still on track for our million-dollar sales goal. Team Florin is trending an average of $95.7k per month, current sales total for the year we are at $383k. $1Million is one of our biggest goal that we have set for our team here and we are trying very hard to reach it. Looks like many a lot of places are going to be open back up and that is a good sign. Hopefully, everything can get back to what we use to call normal. We do have a great sale for the month of May, and I am very excited to see what our sales are going to be like at the end of the month, WOW 25% OFF on jewelry. Florin is going to take our 1st place crown back from El Camino. But overall HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all the moms in our Loyalty Pawn family. Remember stay safe and let’s get these sales. “Don’t limit your challenges. Challenge your limits.”

Broadway

Hello Everyone,

Ahoy Broadway fans! This month we go down under! Australia? NO! Under the sea! It's better down here where there’s sales... under the sea! We have been hard at work collecting and selling our treasures! And oh boy have we been selling. For the first time ever we have sold over 100k in treasures. Now this could not have been possible without our main scuba team, Mike, George, Travis, Josh, Kirby and their main dive instructor John. Their efforts of swimming and tediously looking for the best treasures paid off. We tip our fins to you! This also could not have been possible without our local fishes continue to show their support by swimming down to our store every day. They are the real gold coins, and we thank you! Our hope is that you continue to swim in and connect with us. Let us help you! Sadly, we will be losing a great member of our scuba under water team. Mike, from all of us here at Broadway we wish you good luck on your new treasure hunt. It has been great diving with you!

Oh! fragrant is the breath of May In tranquil garden closes, And soft yet regal is her sway Among the springtide roses.

MAY… is thought to be named for the Roman goddess Maia, who oversaw the growth of plants. Alternatively, the name might have come from the Latin maiores, “elders,” who are celebrated in the 21st century.
