Happy March! Wow 2021 has already gone by so fast! Thank you again to everyone for all of the hard work that everyone puts in everyday, you guys did an amazing job this year even with everything that has gone on this year so thank you!

Letter from the President

Hello Team Loyalty,

Congratulations on a great in-store sales month in February! We have provided more jewelry and luxury goods recently which will hopefully provide another great in-store sales month in March. We have created some great partnerships with many great vendors to provide us with these new products. We will continue to foster these relationships and hopefully build more relationships for us to keep our showcases and shelves filled with quality products. We are still looking for new vendors for general merchandise, so if you happen to come across any products let us know.

We also had a great loan growth month in February. We are hoping that trend continues. We may have a month or two where we do not see great loan growth due to tax return money and the possible new stimulus bill our government is working on. However, we are seeing some businesses open and hopefully seem to be getting back to some type of normalcy.

My one concern that we need to keep an eye on is our Pawn Service Charges. There is a reason for our drop in pawn service charges due to the shrinkage in our loan balance. I am not concerned but it is a number I am keeping a close eye on. Let us keep trying to grow the loan balance and in turn our pawn service charges will have to grow. So, in closing, keep up the great in-store sales and we will continue to provide new merchandise. Keep an eye on that loan growth and the pawn service charges will follow. We are in a great position to grow and keep up with the momentum we had pre-Covid.

Gratefully,

A Letter from the General Manager

Hello Everyone, February sure passed buy quick! We were happy to se the competition and challenge between all the stores. However, Florin ultimately dominated in sales through the whole month. The challenge for everyone was to surpass Florin. We Right at the end of the month Broadway, inched by West sac for 3rd place in sales. El Camino was very close to Roseville as well. Congrats Roseville!

For the month of February, Dominic maintains 1st place in sales for $37,216.37, Norma Bobadilla 2nd place for $20,710.91 and Josh Bonton 3rd place for $19,819.04. Congratulations team! A big thanks to Norma and Josh. Both Norma and Josh were very close to 2nd place! Also, It’s very clear looking at the sales data for the month of February that Layaways absolutely work well when clients are followed up with. Overall, the company received more than $100,000.00 in layaway payments for the month. This is amazing and lets all continue to use our layaway program as a tool for future sales!

Spring is nearing and transactions are happening! In the next few months, our focus will be driving traffic to the locations while maximizing our potential physical transactions and content creation. We are and have been eager to bring business back and a sense of normalcy back to the workplace. Our physical loans and buys continue to increase, and we are eager to see this continue month after month. Many of you are hitting your store sales goal. Some of you are working on it still and this remains a work in progress. We are counting on March and April to be income months. We are starting to see some tax return money. We predict that this will not last long, but our clients are more than welcome to secure nice jewelry items and luxury goods on layaway!

To conclude, we are excited to start our software merge. We have been working back and forth with Pawnmate for a while and they have committed to starting our merge at the end of the month if not the beginning of April. We anticipate that this change will loosen up some restrictions with our current software that will ultimately be a long-term benefit in our transaction time and client navigation. Loyalty Pawn has many positive things in the workings, and we look forward to a strong ending to the 1st quarter of 2021.

I can’t believe March is already upon us seems like this year is already flying by. I guess that’s what happens when you have a busy month. I can’t remember the last time we had a growth month on a February it’s crazy times we are living in. I am thrilled to see ever store going live on a weekly basis and it seems like we are all getting better with it too. I can’t wait until we go viral with one of our videos but better yet create super fans. I know Joseph at Roseville is building quite the following and some celebrity status over there. This month we are going to get to know Jennifer Rodriguez one of the SLAs from the Florin team.

1. Who is your hero and why? I would say my parents and Frida Kahlo are my heroes simply because they have endured a lot of obstacles and challenges in their lives to accomplish everything they have. With my parents; I’ll never be able to repay them for sacrificing their lives to get me the comfortable life that I’m so grateful for having, and with Frida I just relate on a spiritual level and I’ve always admired her.

2. What is your favorite family vacation? Although I was complaining about much of the car trip, I would have to say our trip to L.A. I got to see all these cool attractions, got to live my childhood dreams of taking pictures with some princesses; even though I was like 20 already, and overall, it was a nice bonding experience for my family and me.

3. What did you want to be when you were small? I wanted to be rich and famous period. But then I was like; ‘okay, maybe I want to help people’ and so I thought I wanted to be a doctor but then 3rd grade math happened and it stressed me out too much and I settled for something more simpler; surviving and being happy.

4. What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play? I don’t like watching sports to be honest; unless you consider WWE a sport, but I do like to box occasionally.

5. What would you sing at karaoke night? The Climb- Miley Cyrus

6. Have you ever had a nickname? What is it? ‘Jen’ if we’re being basic, ‘Paprika’ if you’re my brother.

7. Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job? And why? I’d rather work at the perfect job because eventually I’d be bored once I’ve done and boughten everything I wanted and then there’d be no purpose to my existence. Basically, I want to be challenged in some way and feel like I’m useful to society.

8. Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island? My boyfriend.

9. If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to and why? I’d travel back to the 1970’s because those were some crazy, fun times or so Hollywood makes it seem. Also, who wouldn’t want to bring back disco?!

10. How would your friends describe you? Weird, awkward, but loyal no doubt.

11. What is the worst gift you have ever received? Worst gift was an adorable Minnie mouse jacket from my mom that would be a perfect gift for a 5-year-old, but I had turned 22.

12. What are some of your hobbies? Drawing, coming up with conspiracy theories, and writing poetry.

13. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? I would be a shapeshifter.

14. What would you do if you won the lottery? Buy everyone nice things, invest in stocks, travel, and then donate some of it.

15. What is the tallest building you have been to the top of? I don’t do heights so, the parking garage.

16. What is your favorite holiday and why? Halloween because I get candy and get to be someone else.

17. What is your favorite sports team? was a niners fan, but I don’t really watch any sports so... none, I guess.

18. What is one of your favorite movies? Shrek

19. What three items would you take with you on a deserted island? Water, music, and matches.

20. What was your favorite subject in school? English

21. What is the most unusual things you’ve ever eaten? Mustard; condiments are weird to me.

22. Do you collect anything? Dolls; the creepier the better.

23. What three things do you think of the most each day? Food, what things I might be forgetting to do, and whatever thing I decided to overthink about for that day.

24. On a scale from 1-10 how funny would you say you are? Depends on what kind of person you are but overall, I’m 10.

25. Where do you see yourself in 6 months? In a different house, with my stuff more put together, hopefully get this whole adulting thing right

Florin Mall

Hello Loyalty Pawn Family, I hope everyone is doing well. Wow I can’t believe we are going into the last month of the first quarter already, it seems like this year is going to fly by fast. What going on over here at Florin well with the first 2 months gone we are still on track for our $1million sales, that is our goal by the end of the year. Florin has been tracking how many jewelry pieces we have been selling per day and we are selling an amazing average of 7.4 pieces per day. Last month Florin sold a total of $88.7k in sales. We sold almost $14k more this month VS February 2020. We are continuing to out sale what we did for each month in 2020. It seems like thing are getting better and we are happy to see that all store is in the positive for the February. Great job to everyone, we are just going to continue grow. Roseville

Hello Team Loyalty,

I hope everyone had an awesome February and is looking forward to Tax Time! The Roseville team had a great February and was able to hold on to second place in sales for the month. El Camino gave us a run for the money, and they kept it close till the very end of the month. I want to say Great Job to both teams and awesome job to Florin for finishing in first place in sales. The Roseville team is going for the gold this month and we will do everything we can to beat Florin in sale for the month of March. The Roseville team is going to keep pushing Facebook marketplace and Offerup to get new customers into the store to help us get into first place in sales!

Fun Fact: Your odds of filling out a perfect March Madness bracket are 1 in 9.2 quintillion. You have better odds of winning the lottery or getting struck by lightning

Broadway

Hello Everyone,

Stop! In the name of sales, before u spend retail! Think it over! Hasn't Broadway been good to u? Well Broadway fans, February has not been kind to us. Even though our jewelry and purses were on sale Covid struck again! It's tearing up our hearts when our loyalty customers are away from us. But at last we thought our customers would come in for our sales. We told everyone we knew. We asked if Mr sand man sent them a dream about the perfect bike. We asked if they listened and got themselves into our store. Our staff told them there ain't no mountain high enough that will keep them from helping them. We told them to come in and talk with us and let us help u put a ring on it! But sadly we were all alone with no one beside us. If u didn't get any satisfaction this February 14th, there is still time to treat yourself! Even though Feb did not go as planned I'm happy with my team for taken care of business with all our customers. Remember, Broadway will always love our customers, no matter what our hearts will go on! Now if u have read this far and thinking "man John is cheesy as hell" you might be right but it's better than reading the same old thing! For my team- if u can name all the songs mentioned including the titles and artist you will win a prise!
