Happy June Everyone! We are half way through 2021 and it has gone by so fast! Thank you again to everyone for all of your hard work that everyone puts in everyday, you guys are still doing an amazing job even with everything that has gone on in the past year and we are slowly getting back to normal which is exciting. We thank you and hope that everything dies down soon! Father’s Day is Sunday June 20th . Letter from the President

Hello Team Loyalty,

Congratulations every location hit their sales projections in May and El Camino and Florin hit the $100k club again. Well done to the entire Loyalty Pawn Family! We still need to work the instore sales as our Pawn Service Charges are taking a significant hit. The good news is that every store also had a great increase in their loan balances. I believe that will be the trend moving forward and hopefully we can get back to the pre COVID loan balances and strong sales months. I have also noticed the reminder letters and the physical mailers are continuing to drop which save a significant amount of time and resources of the West Sacramento Team. A huge Thank You to team West Sacramento as they have done a tremendous job in maintaining the notices for a long time now. Each store still needs to continue check your dot lists and make sure that every client has opted in for text as well as those texts are checked for each item in loan. We are doing very good but still a little more work to go.

Finally, training is back CAPA had it hopefully last Virtual conference at the beginning of May, I hope that many of you were able to join and get some takeaways. CAPA also has contracted with Yigal and will be putting on monthly webinars, keep an eye out for emails from CAPA which will highlight the topic each month. I went to Kentucky for an in-person conference (Yay!!). Coming up is the Jerry Whitehead Focus Group, the National Pawnbrokers Expo and the CAPA Conference all in person. Exciting to the Pawn World getting back to normal.

A Letter from the General Manager

Hello Everyone,

With June right around the corner, this will be a great time to have our dads and grads sale. In the last two months we have progressively seen an uptick in business. We have been doing more buys at each store as well as loans. Does this mean that we are starting to see a new normal in business transactions? We certainly hope so! Between April 2021 and May 2021, we purchased 518 more items in May than April. Also, the items that are being brought in are of better grade. This is fantastic! Along with our strong buys, our physical loans will be increasing as well.

The top three salesmen of the month are Javier Becerra who sold $43,022.86, 2nd place was Dominic Tognolini who sold $38,987.71 and third place in sales goes to Mark Xiong who sold $26,151.11 Congratulations guys.

We are in the last month of Q2! The current Dads and Grads sale, buy one get one half off is expected to do well in June. We also anticipate finalizing sales from our layaways. During the last 6 months, our layaway balances have grown well, and we look forward to the redemption of those layaways. The store with the highest balance currently is Broadway with Florin not far behind. Yielding a strong layaway program/balance has helped strengthen our sales month over month. Some locations count on layaway pickups to be 30-40% of their monthly sales.

To conclude, each store has room for more talented team members. We are continuing to work with Dmae in helping find energetic team members who want to make a positive difference in others’ lives. If any of you have a contact, acquaintance or friend who might be looking for an opportunity in a fast paced, rewarding work environment, don’t hesitate to connect them with the store manager to begin our application process.

I can’t believe we are already in June! I guess it’s true what they say time flies when you’re busy. It looks like we had another great sales month and it’s great to see some loan growth across the company. I don’t think the is the tsunami of loans everyone keeps talking about, but I defiantly think it’s coming. Big shout out to the Florin and El Camino for hitting over 100k in sales great job teams. I would also like to give a really big shout out to our marketing team for creating such great content and getting traction for the stores. I would also like to wish all the dads out there a very happy Father’s Day. Finally, I would like to welcome our newest member of the Loyalty Pawn Family Elsa Palazuelos. This month we are going to get to know Bailey Xiong the newest SLA from the West Sacramento location.

Well, the heat is on and I’m not talking about the weather, Team Elco is on fire I want to thank team ELCO it was truly a team effort no seltzer! Push our record high of $122,000 that’s an amazing job. We will be celebrating this mark of excellence with a team outing. Furthermore, I want to introduce our new hire Elsa Palazuelos our fellow pawnbroker. She’s been in the Pawn Industry for a couple of years which is a plus for team El Camino. Shes knowledgeable in many aspects but mostly in Luxury purses. But unfortunately, with great news comes bad news. One of our team members is following her passion we wish her the best. Juanita team El Camino is defiantly going to miss you thank you for your hard work and professionalism. Transitioning into June we are in trend to hit the million-dollar mark by the end of the year. We are going to kick ass and utilized all the positive sales tips as in always up sale and if you can’t afford it today “don’t break the bank or stress the pocketbook take advantage of our No interest, No fee layaway program! Hello Loyalty Pawn Family,

I hope everyone is doing well. Team Florin had a great month in May. We were able to end the month with $105,700 in sales. Great job to our team, they push hard to reach our month-end sales goal. Even though we did not take first place we are still very excited to reach another $100k month great job to Team Elco. Team Florin has been maintaining our layaways and was able to get $27.9k in layaway pick-up. We are also excited we grew over $100k last month also in our loan balance. We are still on track for our end-of-the-year sales goal. We are trending to hit $1.2 by the end of the year. We have our feet on the gas pedal, and we are not planning to step on the brakes. We have set a goal of $115k in sales this month to hit. Well, the heat is here so stay hydrated everyone and stay safe. I am very excited to see what numbers we are going to hit this month, especially with our buy one gets one half off sales. Let’s go, Team Loyalty.

I hope everyone is looking forward to 100* summer weather, sunburns, aloe, and the end of the mask mandate! I don’t know about you, but I got my vaccine and I’m ready to get back to some kind of normal. I know the past 15 months have not been easy and we are now on the verge of coming out of this pandemic on the other side, we can see the light and the end of the tunnel. We are so close to beating this thig, so please do your part, and tell future generations about how you helped fight this virus. I’m so very proud of everyone on team Loyalty Pawn for all the hard work and dedication shown these past 15 months. Together we can do anything! Stay safe, be strong and vaccinate if you can! Hello Team,

The heatwave is upon us, I cannot believe how hot it is gotten. With the being said, we here at west sac are ready, clean all the air filters so the air conditioning runs cool and smooth. We also have a bunch of cold-water bottles for our clients. Bailey is catching on to sales techniques and presentations and was able to beat Norma and take the number one spot in the last week of May with almost 7k. Norma is not letting the gas pedal either she is coming back. Brandy is slow sneaking with all her layaways, some people call her the "Layaway Queen” and let's not forget about "J, J, J,J JASON!!!!" Our own swiss army knife pawnbroker, he does loans, sales, buys, marketing, Facebook, and the cherry on top eBay, somehow still find the way to keep everyone morale high and enthusiastic. June 15th the mask mandate is being lifted by the CDC, please check with your county as your county may have a different opinion. As for now, we continue to wear a facemask and sanitize as frequently as possible. Please stay safe and healthy. We look forward to new challenges and overcoming old ones.

If you need other resources for the vaccine, check out these below: CVS - Currently, workers of certain industries, people over 65 and people age 16+ with a high-risk medical condition that increases risk of severe illness from COVID-19 can schedule an appointment at select CVS locations.
