President’s Letter

Hello Team Loyalty,

First, I would like to say Happy New Year to each of you and all your families. 2022 was not the easiest year we have gone through, but better than 2021. I am looking forward to an even better 2023 with less stress and struggles! I am confident we will put an amazing company event together and share all our wins and celebrate each other. I know we can kick 2023 in the butt, let us do it together!!

Looking over 2022 revenue numbers we had a strong year due to Pawn Service Charges, Scrap Sales and grateful to have a more dedicated Ebay department. The in-store sales were down significantly. Many factors went in to play here I believe the number one issue is the shortage in Team Members. Thank You to everyone that showed up and did your best to deliver the best possible customer service experience for all our clients and do the best you could to build our Loyalty Pawn Team Members relationships. A huge shoutout to our entire management teams this could not have been done without you. THANK YOU. Another factor in the decline in the in-store sales is the government money stopped rolling in, which is entirely out of our control. Closing Sundays also had an impact on these sales. These are the major reasons and identifying them will help us move forward in correcting them.

We have adjusted in-store sales projections down to accurately reflect realistic figures. We feel that a 10% increase over 2022 numbers will give each location the ability to attain these projections. On another note, we saw huge increases in many of our expenses, most of these numbers are out of our control due to inflation and rising costs everywhere. Payroll was our largest expense increase. You spoke with our survey, and we happily listened. However, these numbers do affect the bottom line. We just need to be aware, and we are aware. We are staying a strong and viable company; I am just sharing the ins and outs of the company. I am looking forward to a FUN and prosperous 2023 for the company and the entire Loyalty Pawn Family.

Happy New Year,

2

Letter from the General Manager

Greetings Everyone,

Happy New Year! We made it through ‘22’. This time every year, I like to take the time to reflect on our achievements, successes, and shortcomings. I think a little part of all of us hope that we will have a little less challenging of a year ahead. I often wonder how we have overcome the hurdles set before us. What I know is that we have a very dynamic flexible team. We have endured the woe of the economy, weather, pandemic, doom, and gloom news, and much more. Yet here we are. We have made it through another year. We will very soon embark on the 5th year of operating as Loyalty Pawn. This is exciting as it truly seems like 5 years was just a blink of an eye. We have shaken a little in the last couple of years but remain tall and strong.

With the ending of 2022, I would like to mention the top salesman for the month of December. The first place goes to Dominic T. Second place goes to Danni R. and the third place goes to Paul M. Great job for December team. Roseville especially broke through December by hitting the 100k mark! With that being said, the top three salesmen who qualify for the quarterly higher % bonus are Dominic (first place) Danni (second place), and Norma (third place). Congratulations! May your future sales bonuses be fruitful in the first quarter of 2023.

We have kept a steady pace through the last 6 months. While maintaining the company’s VVG’s, there is no doubt that the business line that was the most impacted in this shaky economy was our retail sales. We still have a very strong inventory book with a depleting layaway balance. On average, our locations secured 10:2 ratio of items being sold. The 10:2 represents 10 general items sold to 2 jewelry items sold. This data is an average over many months. Some months were better and some worse. This data also represents the continued need for gm items to be considered through our qualification process rather than turning away clients or products. Our continued outlets have not dried up to move our inventory so let’s continue to bargain and have fun making transactions.

Have a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Loyalty Pawn Family

I sincerely hope that each of you had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. It's always vital to pause when we start a new year to reflect and refocus on how to set and achieve our new year's goals. I'd like to applaud the Roseville team for their dedication and for breaking the 100k sales threshold in December. It will require a lot of work from everyone to restock and turn that inventory back into money so we can loan it out given our steadily increasing loan balance. Despite the fact that many of our clients are repeat clients, we've finished the year by forging new relationships with clients that have never stepped foot in a Pawn Shop before. In addition to business, I'd also like to take this moment to thank all of you for your continued support as managers, customers, family members, friends, and team members. Our success is only possible because of people like you who embrace our vision values and goals. Let’s keep up the great work and surpass all our goals for 2023! Roseville

Hello Team Loyalty, Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years Eve. I can’t believe 2022 is over and 2023 is already here. Its crazy how fast time flies when working at the pawn shop. I want to give a gigantic, huge shoutout to the Roseville team for crushing our sales goal for the month of January. At the beginning of January, we set out to hit 85K in sales and the team surpassed that goal and sold over 105K… amazing job! Brittany Dominic and Danni you all did a phenomenal job and I’m so proud and appreciative of your dedication and hard work. Great job team Roseville!

Broadway

Hello Team,

Broadway had a interesting holiday season falling short of our sales goal of 135k but we have some achievable goals for 2023. The staff is excited for the new year and what it may bring josh is looking to place in the top 3 of sales for the whole year. Lola is wanting to expand her product knowledge on watches and guitars. Quincy wants to learn how to restore and do wood working. Kirby wants to spend more time with his family and become a better manager. I myself want to enjoy more hobbies and get outside more. So overall the Broadway team is looking forward to the new 2023 year.
