Letter from the President

Hello Team Loyalty,

Well one month of 2021 is over, for me it was pretty uneventful. I was expecting a big change from 2020, but that did not happen. We will see what the coming months will bring us. I am waiting to see movie theaters open. I miss taking my kids to the movies!! I did take them out to dinner when they reopened for outside seating it was cold but nice to eat out.

We had a good January with strong instore sales and fairly decent pawn service charges. We did drop quite a bit in our loan balance which will affects our coming months pawn service charges. We will need to stay on top of our roll overs, loan bumps and customer service in order to hit our 2021month projections. There is much talk about another Federal stimulus bill coming out soon so our clients maybe in the buying or redemption mood the goal would be to offer our clients a reason to roll over their loan and make a purchase.

Wayne and I have been sourcing lots of new jewelry items and I know Wayne has been working quickly on getting the merchandise out to each location. Tony and I have also been sourcing other luxury goods purses and brand name jewelry pieces we are also working on getting these items inventoried and out to the stores as well. Reach out to Wayne and Tony with requests and maybe offer some help. Let's make this Valentine’s Season a great sales time to make up for some of the pawn service charges loss.Lastly tax season is coming as well so that should help with our sales also. We have all the tools to have an extremely successful 2021. Thank you to everyone for the hard work you are all putting in!!

Gratefully,

A Letter from the General Manager

Greetings Teams,

On to 2021! This is definitely going to be a new year, with new goals and new successes. 2020 was quite the challenge for us all. If there is anything I have learned through last year, it is that we can all persevere through difficult times. We have been able to adapt through these difficult times and we will continue to do so. Year over year, we intend to do better that the last. When we goal set, that is an indicator or mark that we strive for. We made some surprisingly good strides in the last half of 2020 and look forward to continuing on that path. As always, we will continue to make tweaks to our operations here and there while concentrating on growing our teams again. We are happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As always, we like to highlight our top salesmen for the month. First place in December was Dominic T. who sold $32,024.39. Second place was Javier B. who sold $22,218.39 and third place goes to Joseph Contreras who sold $16,555.16. This is a fantastic start to the new year! Historically, February has been a top contender month in sales. We hope to exceed the sales mark from February 2020.

A big thank you to everyone going online live. This absolutely makes a difference. As markets change, going live, keeps us relevant and reminds those who follow us of our services. This serves well to give a map of the inside of our locations as well as introducing product and teams to our community. We also have a great opportunity to showcase, hot ticket or obscure items that come in. Please keep up the good work and stay creative.

To conclude, in the next 3 months, we are still outsourcing inventory to fit our needs. We do not plan on this year being a strong tax year however, we do believe that another form of stimulus will be on its way soon. By now, each store has a considerable amount of jewelry. We will be advertising these goods through Facebook, email campaigns and texting. We are also putting a considerable amount of effort in reminding our communities of items that we except for loan or purchase. If you see an ad on Facebook, don’t be afraid to like and share. Again, we plan to excel by being uniquely creative!

Sincerely,

“You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want”. -Zig Ziglar

Roseville

Hello Team Loyalty,

I hope everyone had a great January and is ready to have an awesome February/ jewelry season! The Roseville team has been focused on having a bigger social media presence and getting new customers in the door. We have all seen the traffic flow dramatically slowdown in the past year and we need to be creative on getting new customers in the door. At Roseville have stared weekly Facebook live post to highlight new products and showcase the store each Thursday. We have also begun a support local business board to help bring attention to local Roseville businesses. Each Friday we will post a local business on our Facebook page in an attempted to cross promote and create positive attention for struggling local businesses. Our goal is to shine a positive light on the pawn industry and at the same time help out our local community. We are the Leaders in Local Lending! Fun Fact: It was in February 1964 when The Beatles made their first American television appearance on the “Ed Sullivan Show.” Over 73 million Americans watched, and it launched the Beatles into rock and roll super stars.

CORONA VIRUS-COVID 19

Things to Know about the U.S. COVID-19 Vaccination Program

The safety of COVID-19 vaccines is a top priority.

àThe U.S. vaccine safety system ensures that all vaccines are as safe as possible. Learn how federal partners are working together to ensure the safety of COVID-19 vaccines

àCOVID-19 vaccination will help protect you from getting COVID-19. Two doses are needed. Depending on the specific vaccine you get, a second shot 3-4 weeks after your first shot is needed to get the most protection the vaccine has to offer against this serious disease.

àCDC is making recommendations for who should be offered COVID-19 vaccine first when supplies are limited.

To help guide decisions about how to distribute limited initial supplies of COVID-19 vaccine, CDC and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices have published recommendations for which groups should be vaccinated first.

àThere is currently a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccine in the United States, but supply will increase in the weeks and months to come.

The goal is for everyone to be able to easily get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as large enough quantities are available. Once vaccine is widely available, the plan is to have several thousand vaccination providers offering COVID-19 vaccines in doctors’ offices, retail pharmacies, hospitals, and federally qualified health centers.

àAfter COVID-19 vaccination, you may have some side effects. This is a normal sign that your body is building protection.

àThe side effects from COVID-19 vaccination may feel like flu and might even affect your ability to do daily activities, but they should go away in a few days. Learn more about what side effects to expect and get helpful tips on how to reduce pain and discomfort after your vaccination.

àCan a COVID-19 vaccine make me sick with COVID-19? No. None of the COVID-19 vaccines contain the live virus that causes COVID-19 so a COVID-19 vaccine cannot make you sick with COVID-19. Visit the CDC website section on the Coronavirus Vaccine for more information.

Vaccine doses purchased with U.S. taxpayer dollars will be given to the American people at no cost. However, vaccination providers may be able to charge administration fees for giving the shot.

àThe first COVID-19 vaccines are being used under Emergency Use Authorizations (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Many other vaccines are still being developed and tested.

If you have questions about COVID-19 and need assistance finding information online or clarification regarding the information, a statewide hotline number is available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., 7 days a week at (833) 544-2374.

Enjoy the month of February filled with all kinds of cool and kooky activities, good health prevention practices, and personal celebrations for all of us in every culture on this amazing planet we call HOME! Be safe!
