“The Westland”
——Exploration Journey in the Silver Valley
Eliot's "The Waste Land" conveys that tradition is not a static entity but a continuum of history. With the progression of society, commercialization gradually infiltrates villages, and homogenized architecture strips them of their distinctiveness. Villages gradually deviate from their original appearance, falling into what is known as "isolation." However, this transformation is what we must safeguard in our era. This project centers on a village, unearths its history, and magnifies it to become the village's defining feature.
Inspiration
Tradition is not something unchanging, but rather a continuation of history.
Site Analysis The place where tea is served originally was the ancestral hall of the Liu family.
In the past, the imperial court conducted silver mining and dispatched officials to build bridges and roads for the benefit of the local community. The glass bridge emerges dramatically across the mountain range.
With the development of today's society, commercialization is gradually encroaching upon villages.

This led me to think about a village in my hometown, an ancient village swallowed by modern culture.
This well was left behind during the silver mining operations from 400 years ago. A colorful lighting installation suddenly appeared in the field.

The choice here is the combustion method, which involves using fire to burn the vein, making it brittle.

The first destination for the ore is the stamp mill, where the ore is crushed using stamping devices to obtain powdered ore.
Smelting
The ore concentrate is formed into fist-sized pellets using rice paste as a binder, arranged on charcoal fires. After the fire is extinguished, sintered and desulfurized pellets are obtained.

This is an immersive exhibition narrative space where visitors take on the role of miners. On the left side of the entrance, they pick up kerosene lamps and enter the dim "mine," embarking on a step-by-step exploration to understand the connection between the village and the silver mine.

Theater Overview Renderings
People gather in the theater through various entrances on the covered bridge, providing them with the opportunity to see other visitors arriving from different passages and experience the village's sense of community. Upon reaching the theater, visitors are captivated by the vintage puppet theater, where traditional local puppetry performances are staged. This relocation of the ancient theater into a modern setting creates a fascinating blend of time and space. The entire space concludes with an open-ended design. After enjoying the performance, people can continue their exploration by choosing different paths that lead to various spaces, each offering a unique charm of this quaint village.

Exploring the Pursuit of Power an This project is inspired by the South Korean movie 'Parasite' and it translates elements from the film's content, cinematography, visual composition, and objects' symbolism into spatial design. It aims to focus on the notions of power and class in contemporary society. It delves deep into the gradual objectification of women in society and integrates this exploration into a unique spatial experience. It's a sensual voyage about self-identity, dignity, and freedom. We look forward to exploring the strength and resilience of women with the audience in this exhibition, sparking reflections on gender equality, and contributing our small part to creating a more inclusive and equal society.
Exhibition Introduction This exhibition takes place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, at the West Drama Art Space in Binjiang District. It is an immersive exhibition centered around the theme of the objectification of women.
In this journey through time and space, The power of women shall find its grace. Venus's beauty, an endless spring, Inspires boundless possibilities to sing. In the cycles of lost, objectified, reborn, We seek echoes of freedom, dignity worn. Dancers gracefully take the stage's embrace, Stories unfold in every unique space.

In today's society, "urban stress syndrome" is no longer an issue limited to specific individuals or cities; it has become a widespread social problem. According to predictions, by 2050, two-thirds of the global population will reside in cities. However, on the flip side, issues such as noise pollution, light pollution, air pollution, traffic congestion, social isolation, and the resulting omnipresent stress are causing distress. Regarding the issue of work-related stress among urban professionals, there is a desire to create a "Natural Dyeing" themed urban slow-living experience center. This center aims to alleviate the stress of urban professionals through natural healing methods.

This space is equipped with workbenches which is directly connected to the plant picking area and drying area. Use tools such as threads, ropes, rubber bands, needles, clips, and bamboo boards to tie, sew, and clamp fabrics. You need to make sure that the fabric is tied tightly to prevent the dye solution from entering.

The Unreal City In the realm of the unreal city, stars descend upon the earth, much like a fig tree swaying in the fierce winds, shedding its unripe fruits. This scene etches a profound mark in our consciousness, evoking feelings of mystery and awe. It represents a moment rich in symbolism, a gateway to the unknown.
It started from some objects ...
It located in a lawn with ups and downs ... There is a path passing through the middle The theme of the exhibition comes from a line in the Book of Revelation : And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
I use this installation as my prologue.I call it "The Unreal City". Step 1

I enjoy this sense of breathability and haziness
This is the feeling what I want. This seems very stiff.
This is composed of four main pillars as boundaries, surrounded by a light and transparent material in the middle.
I used paper tubes and raw material tapes for simple restoration.
I split the entire column into smaller columns and used them as the entrance to the installation. The periphery is wrapped with yarns of different widths to form a multi-layered visual experience.
When visitors walk in this installation, they will have a hazy feeling, as if they are traveling through an unreal city.

A drop-shaped object on a rotating swing, express the centrifugal force produced when it moves.
The sand and the mirror form a contrast in material, coldness and warmth, creating two different experiences for visitors when walking on it.

Based on the traditional Chinese blue-green landscape painting method, the sketching took place in Shijiu Feng, Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province.
