“This project is too hard! I will never finish it on time! “I hope I do not get cut from the team.” “How am I supposed to fit everything I want to do into my schedule?” Everyday we go through problems. It is part of our sin-filled world. Some problems are easy to fix. But sometimes we go through problems that are more personal and painful. “She hates me now. There’s no way we can be friends again.” “They put him on life support. He won’t get better now.” “She is such an atheist there’s no way she would ever believe in God.” We find ourselves losing hope and thinking there is no way it could get better. We forget that in any situation, we can pray to God for help. God can do anything. There is nothing He can not do. So the next time a problem comes into our lives, we can pray to Him for help. Although He may not always answer right away, or have things happen the way we want them to, He will find a way to work it out for our good.

Climbing the social ladder staff reporter

To many people popularity is one of the most important things in their life, whether they admit it or not. Teens in high school are especially targeted by the popularity bug. Social Climbing is a fancy way of saying a person is using someone else to get ahead in life. By having the title of being the most known or most liked person in the school or in the class may be important to some that they would even leave behind those friends that really care for them and like them for who they are as a person. Then again some people do not care about popularity. Some may say that popularity is “only for squares.” Another thing is that some people do have their priorities in order. God is number one in their life which is neat to see and very noticeable in most cases. Sometimes all a person wants to do is fit in. These people must realize though that there are people out there who will accept them for who they are. They must also realize that all of these earthly things such as popularity are only temporary things here on earth.
