How it Works:

Unless called out for a specific purpose, auction proceeds support the ministry of Lakeside Lutheran High School in three areas: student financial aid, building improvement fund, and general operating fund.

Registration & Bidding

All bids will be online or mobile entries.

To participate most effectively, download the “Auctria” smartphone app. This tool makes it a breeze to access and follow the online auction event. Receive notifications on your device when you’re outbid or win an item. Access the app when you scan the QR code here (both iOS and Android) or at charityauction.bid/mobile

(Scan the QR code with your phone/tablet camera and your device will ask if you want to go to the link destination. Tap yes and your device will take you to the right store.)

If you are at the event in person, some displays will have volunteers who will take your info and enter it for you online. For those who can’t or do not wish to use their own devices, a “Warrior Geek Squad” kiosk is there to assist. Stop there before you browse the offerings to get help.

You are encouraged to bid, buy, and donate. Doing so constitutes a legal contract to purchase that auction item at the price you stated if your bid is the winning bid. The last (highest) valid bid entered prior to the section closing will be the winning bid.

The Auction Committee reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time without notice before the actual sale. In the event of a dispute, the Committee shall act as final authority in determining the winning bid.

Payment & Pick-Up

For the best check-out/item pick-up experience, provide credit/debit card info online prior to event OR upon event check-in.

Auction items are available for pick up at the end of the event. Post-event, all won items should be picked up at LLHS March 31-April 3 from 10-3.

If you cannot pick up, know that shipping costs are added to your winning bid. Some items cannot ship. Questions? Email grandevent@llhs.org.

Terms of Sale—Unless otherwise noted, all certificates for goods and services must be used within one year of the auction date. All items and services are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the donors.

Lakeside Lutheran High School has attempted to describe and catalog all items correctly, but all items are offered and sold AS IS.

What do I do with my drink tickets?

Drink tickets (3 per ticketed guest) are redeemable at the bar for a beer, seltzer, or wine.

(Feel free to share extra tickets.)

Ending the Night on a sweet Note

�� BROWSE. Sneak peek the dessert selection in the West Gym.

�� FILL OUT CARD. When seated for dinner, write your name, bidder number, and donation amount on the table card. Everyone gets dessert! Cards are collected and table bids are tallied.

�� DASH! Later in the program, tables are announced in order. Highest bid table gets first pick and sends a dasher to place their table flag in the dessert of their choice, followed by the other table dashers.

�� ENJOY DESSERT! Towards the end of the program, we will let you know when dessert is ready for guests to enjoy.

While you are dressed to the nines, be sure to take advantage of our photo booth! Photographer extraordinare, Mrs. Ruth Fenske, will be set up in the hallway outside the cafeteria with a derby-worthy backdrop, some fun hats to wear and ready to snap your pic with her camera or your phone. Couples, groups— all are encouraged to join in the fun. Put on your best derby smile and we’ll see you at the races!

Just like the Derby horses are various breeds, the pull will feature some other distilled spirits -- all are solid contenders. Everyone’s a winner in this feature.

For $75, you pull a numbered shot glass that coordinates with one of our 36 bottles. A purchase guarantees something for you and a little something extra for Lakeside.

Limited to ticketed guests, winners of the top 3 placements on the leaderboard (aka the 3 most valuable bottles of bourbon/whiskey) will be announced during the program. All winners pick up their bottles at the end of the evening from the Bourbon* Pull station. All bottles will be clearly marked with the winner’s name/bidder number.

The class that raises the most money will be rewarded with treats, bragging rights, and the privilege of painting the Spirit Rock...located outside, next to the competition field.
