A Message from the Development Director
Photos for you to Enjoy!
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures (I Cor. 15:1 –4) He is Risen….He is Risen Indeed! As the Lord once again placed us at the foot of His cross during this Easter season, we can be confident that when our last day on this earth comes to a close, we too shall rise and join him in heavenly glory. What a comforting thought. As Christians we know this isn’t just a thought, but the truth—the truth that forms the basis of what we believe as written in the Bible. It is also the reason Lakeside Lutheran High School was founded. As young Christians prepared for life in 1958, it was God’s plan that they be nurtured in this truth, guided and directed by His Word and ultimately responsible for the proclamation of Christ’s ascension. As time passes, it is apparent that God’s plan to include Lakeside as a tool to proclaim his truth is being fulfilled. Generations after those who first sat inside these walls have followed by sharing the opportunities and blessings of Lakeside. We would all agree to the significance of Lakeside back in 1958—we should no less agree to the significance of it today. Lakeside Lutheran High School, through the direction of our Lord and Savior, is a school that still today teaches and preaches God’s truth to every student. It is a Lutheran High School that was founded on the true principals of God’s Word. Now that’s a comforting thought!

With the Greek letter Chi so evident in our churches and schools, your association with this fellowship is a reminder of God’s love, and every gift is significant to Lakeside. As a thank you for your gift we offer you a subscription to The Legacy, and invite you to attend a fellowship event. To remain a member of this Chi Fellowship we encourage you to renew your annual support each year, or prayerfully consider joining the Rho or Kentro Fellowships.

Lakeside has truly been a blessing to me. It has been the best of both worlds for me, so to speak. What I mean by this is that Lakeside allowed me to garner an incredible education, but more importantly, Lakeside allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of my Savior. Not many other high schools can engage students in the way Lakeside does. On its campus, a student can feel safe to express his or her own Christian beliefs because we all are one in faith.

Members of the Rho Fellowship, with the Lord’s guidance, have provided multiple gifts totaling less than $1,000 within the last year to Lakeside Lutheran High School. The Greek letters Rho and Chi form the symbol for Christ. This symbol, displayed in the center of our school seal, serves as a reminder that Christ is the center of our faith at Lakeside. Through this faith we return our blessings to continue His work.
Lakeside is a school which prepares young men and women to go and share their faith. Last summer I was given a chance to go and share my faith with others from my homeroom.
As a thank you for your gifts we offer you membership in the Rho Fellowship, a subscription to The Legacy, and also invite you to attend the fellowship events that have been planned for you. To remain a member of the Rho Fellowship we encourage you to renew your support each year, or prayerfully consider joining our Kentro Fellowship.

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.
We were able to go and canvas and also share our faith. Lakeside doesn’t just prepare us for the future; it also has teachers that support us in whatever career choices we make, and also gives us friends to last a lifetime.

Members of the Kentro Fellowship have offered a gift, or returned a commitment card, to Lakeside Lutheran High School of $1,000 or more for the year. The Greek word, Kentro, meaning center, leads us to reflect on Christ as the center of our lives. Through Him we receive these blessings, and are encouraged to offer them up to His glory.
