Michele and Zander Krahn have four daughters: twins Mia and Paige, Cecelia, and Alexandra. This year, all four girls are students at Lakeside! Hear from Michele on why Lakeside is worth it:

"Four kids at Lakeside at the same time is financially very difficult ... our tuition payment is more than our mortgage! Our non-Lakeside friends and some of our family often ask why we made this choice. We've been told if we sent our kids to public school we could take really nice vacations every year, we could drive much nicer vehicles, and we could have a bigger house or nicer things.

"However, none of those things are worth all that we gain at Lakeside. At Lakeside we gain a family, a community, and an invaluable support system worth so much more than any money we spend on tuition.

"Yes, our kids receive an outstanding academic education; Lakeside has a multitude of data to support the academic achievements of its students. More importantly, they hear God's word every day, they learn who they are in Christ, they learn the importance of character. The teachers and coaches care about our children in the scope of eternity, they pray for them, they build them up, they lead by example. We have been so blessed by the mentorship of more than one teacher and coach. These men and women give so selflessly of their time and energy and walk in faith alongside our children.

"We have been blessed by priceless friendships over the years and our girls have a whole crew of "bonus" parents they can go to when they need support or guidance. Our girls have a wonderful support network of parents and friends who pray for them, cheer for them, celebrate with them when times are good, grieve with them when times are hard, encourage them and always point them to what matters most: our Father in heaven.
