STORIES!

WHAT?

Food and stories are universal.

Through them we will raise the profile and voice of older people and their role in the community.

By involving older people in creative activities, they tackle their isolation and participate in meaningful activity.

Initially we aim to work with 3 groups of older people in each country to collect and create individual digital recipe-stories. The digital stories will be published online to raise awareness of social isolation amongst older people and offer other organisations/countries the opportunity to engage.

The methodology and tools used to create the stories will be presented in a toolkit.

Through our “open” facebook page people across the world will access the toolkit and post their recipes and stories.

LET'S MAKE IT SIMPLE! Our goal is to raise awareness of and encourage participation in actively engaging with isolated older people  Older people have a wealth of stories to tell and share By raising their visibility on social networks we will help tackle prejudice
