where human perceptions meet nature

TYPE: Ecoturism cultural center in farasan island.

-Individual work-

THE CONCEPT inspired from the most diversable and identifiable ecosystem in the location. the mangrove ecosystem, as it has a depth that we do not see.

BY biomimicking: its overlay, connectivity, and interlocking which achieve balance in the outlines and functions.

The mass inspired from the mangrove leaves to be part of the site and blend with nature reflects the goal of the project where it aims to blend people with nature in one balanced ecosysyem.

Farasan Island was initially under the ocean, then it rose to form a land possessing natural treasures, and it went throuugh as era where it was covered in ice.

This is what the visitor will experiane in the natural phenomena section of the exhibition.

note: the underlined sentences are names of the exhibitions

Experiance walking between the roots of the mangrove, then going up to the mangrovve leaves part using the esclator between the roots.

Where the researchers can see this experiance from the labs by being both around a court.

The project designed by using the newest approach of designing exhibitions, It targets human instincts and all senses to lead the user to complete his journey between exhibitions with the greatest impact on his awareness about the nature, and attract his attention in a thoughtful ways by the design lines, light and dark colored sections, in addition to the fact that the exhibition is interactive.

At the end of the journy, the future exhibition deliver a message of (toward brighter futur) using the latest technology.

Concept

People with PTSD are stuck in a memory from the past that they relive over and over. Therefore, the design concept is about the process of emancipation from that trauma where the medical resort will be their sanctuary for them, where they resort to find safety and isolate so that they can reconnect with the present which enables them to return to their normal lives.
