Throughout the next few months, we are enhancing our campuses to give you the best possible student experience. This includes upgrades to the Redmonds Building and Student Life Building, as well as continuing with the major redevelopment of the Henry Cotton Building. Together, these projects will create modern teaching spaces, flexible learning environments, and great places to study and socialise.

However, this does mean that we are unable to showcase all of our facilities and buildings today, but we do feel it is important that we continue to improve our estate for our students, whilst embedding sustainable technologies to support our ambitious net zero ambitions.

STUDENT LIFE BUILDING AND SPORT BUILDING TOUR

Our 24/7, five-storey Student Life Building houses a range of student-facing services and study spaces.

Next door, the Sport Building features an eight court sports hall, two multi-purpose studio rooms and state-of-the-art gym. Ask our staff about membership, which includes access to all fitness classes, gyms and much more for just £45 per year (2026/27 fee). Tours will run throughout the event, so arrive at a time that suits you.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Liverpool is easy to travel to by road, rail and air. You can even catch a ferry across the Mersey! Visit Liverpool has some really useful information.

PARKING

As we are located in the heart of Liverpool city centre, there is no on-site parking at the university. There are, however, plenty of car parking options in the immediate area within easy walking distance. Parkopedia provides information on many public car parks around the city.

There are several Liverpool City Council car parks in the city centre, the largest of which is the multi-storey Mount Pleasant Car Park. There are also a number of Q-Park and NCP car park sites across the city.

RAIL

If you are travelling by train, our campuses are a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street station. Our campuses are also near several local Merseyrail* stations, including Liverpool Central and Moorfields.

BUS

If you plan to travel by bus, you can plan your journey easily using Merseytravel*. Our campuses are a short walk from Queens Square and Liverpool One Bus Stations as well as the countless bus stops located around the city centre.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

FIRE ALARM

If the fire alarm sounds during the event, please exit the building via the nearest fire exit as quickly and safely as possible. Staff and student ambassadors will ensure you are guided to the nearest fire assembly point.

ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT

If you feel unwell or require first aid, please notify a member of staff. First aiders will be available all day to help you.

NEED A QUIET SPACE?

We have created a quiet space so should you need to, you can take a break from our busy Open Day. Make your way to a member of staff at our Information Desk who can direct you to our quiet room.
