HEAR FROM OUR STUDENTS
I studied Architecture at Liverpool John Moores University. The course built a strong foundation in technical design and project delivery, helping me understand construction details, engineering principles, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Structured projects encouraged a practical, real-world approach, while field trips to the Lake District and Amsterdam offered valuable insight into context and international building practices. I now work as a Technical Architect and Project Coordinator at JT+Partners, balancing design and project management. Alongside this, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Construction Engineering Management, aiming to gain broad experience before establishing my own architecture and contracting company in the future.
Choosing to study at Liverpool John Moores University has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I wanted to push myself, gain real international experience, and build a stronger future—and LJMU has given me exactly that. Studying Cyber Security here feels practical and meaningful, and the support from staff and students has made it easy to settle in and stay motivated. I also love living in Liverpool as it’s affordable, diverse, and the waterfront at Royal Albert Dock is my favourite place to unwind. LJMU truly feels student-focused, welcoming, and committed to helping you grow—not just academically, but personally and professionally. Aymen Sadouki Algeria BSc Cyber Security
