What’s happening in your local acreage market Worongary Acreage had 4 sales in the last quarter ranging between $520,000 and $1,100,000. There are currently 35 acreage properties on the market, 2 of which are listed over the $2 million mark!

Clagiraba had a quiet last quarter of 2018, but for the overall year, had a solid performance with a median sale price of $827,500 for houses. 2 blocks of land also sold in 2018 for a total of $935,000.

Gaven had a great final quarter with 5 properties sold, and 11 properties remaining on the market, and a change in median growth of 7.64%.

Maudsland Acreage is firing with 6 sales in the last quarter - 3 houses and 3 blocks of land. All up, 37 properties changed hands in Maudsland and with the new acreage land releases, interest in the suburb is continuing to grow.

The median price has continued it’s strong growth in Guanaba, with 3 sales in the last quarter, including a sale of $1,440,000. For 2018, there were 17 properties sold totaling a whopping $18,870,000.

Mount Nathan had a strong showing in 2018 with 29 sales for the year, but put the brakes on for the last quarter with no sales finalised. There is still a great mix of properties on offer for buyers with 20 properties currently for sale.

Advancetown was the dark horse last quarter with 3 sales totaling $2,980,000 - there were only 2 sales for the rest of 2018.

Nerang Acreage also had a strong 12 months with 35 sales in 2018, and 4 sales in the final quarter.

Suburb Spotlight: Clagiraba The size of Clagiraba is approximately 27.8 square kilometres.

It has 11 parks covering nearly 19.1% of total area.

The population of Clagiraba in 2011 was 560 people.

By 2016 the population was 595 showing a population growth of 6.2% in the area during that time.
