COMMUNITY
For me, the real sense of community here is incredibly important to me and something I think that makes Crested Butte really special in regard to other resort towns. —Kiley Flint

ACCESS

This place is so unique because you have such quick and easy access to the trails. There are a lot of resort communities out there but the access just isn’t the same. Here, you go one minute outside of town in either direction you’re on a trail and in public lands. It always blew my mind that you could do that. Your gym membership is the National Forest outside your back door. It’s the edge of the frontier. It’s incredible that 30 years later you can still leave town and in a matter of seconds on bike or on foot you’re lost. There are not many places like that, and that’s pretty damn special. —Channing Boucher
It’s extremely convenient to recreate from just about everywhere in this valley and it’s very easy to avoid crowds, which is pretty rare. We’re extremely fortunate to have such a fantastic ski resort, and we have bona-fide extreme terrain. —Di Bridges

SCENERY

We live in this super cool, unusual, quaint, gritty town that happens to have some of the most extreme skiing in Colorado.
