A NOTE FROM OUR MARKETING DIRECTOR Hello Cady Atlanta!

I know we are all looking forward to the holidays, as it’s a time to be thankful for everything that we’ve been blessed with in 2016. Many of us will enjoy great meals with friends and family, and catch up on some much needed rest!

However, some kids right in your backyard may not have some of the comforts that we are all looking forward to in the coming weeks. In metro Atlanta alone there are 500 K-8 kids that look forward to school Monday morning simply because they will be eating a real meal for the first time since Friday afternoon.

Instead of just feeling bad about this scary fact, we’re going to do something about it. I’m excited to announce that we will be working with Blessings in a Backpack, as this really hits at our core: students and schools. Not only will we be helping some schools we service on a daily basis, but we will be making strides for Cady’s brand reputation within the community. Ideally, we will expand into our other territories of Illinois and Florida with BIAB, so there will be additional opportunities you can be involved in throughout the year. I look forward to seeing each of you for our first event!

With more than 16.2 million children at risk of hunger, Blessings in a Backpack provides food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry.

While children are fed during the school week by federal government programs, Blessings in a Backpack makes sure they are getting nutritional meals over the weekend as well. By donating $100 you can feed one child on the weekends for one 38-week school year.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Friday, December 2 | 9 am 44 Milton Avenue, Alpharetta, GA 30009 Alpharetta Studio 9 AM

Arrive to catered breakfast in studio lobby. Grab a TEAMCady shirt for packing and wait for instructions from BIAB. Don’t forget to wear jeans/ black pants and comfortable shoes.

10 AM

Pack 750 bags full of food. Bags will be placed into bins and put into Cady sprinter vans for distribution.

Esther Jackson Elementary School 1130 AM Team members head out to distribute food to Esther Jackson Elementary School* located at 1400 Martin Rd, Roswell, Georgia 30076.

*Esther Jackson is a Title I federally funded school. Title I focuses on the academic needs of the most disadvantaged students in the Roswell, Georgia area.
