LOCATION: the object can be placed averywhere in the CittĂ Studi campus area.
In the campus it is not uncommon to spot many people listening to music, each one alone, with their own headphones.
A tool that amplifies sounds creates the chance to listen and also share the music.
GRAMO-PHONE CREATES A SHARED MUSICAL EXPERIENCE
Just insert your smartphone in the holder inside the cone...
... the holder, a passive sound board, increases the intensity of the sound...
... which in turn will be amplified by the cone....
...without electricity!
GramoGramo-phne is a chair designed to play music . Through a passive sound board, it amplifies the music coming from electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets - devices that we all posses and usually use on our own -
Gramo-phne -phne instead encourages socialization creating a chance to share your music.

Basing on the identity of the town Of Levanto, rooted to its agricoltural vocation, the theme for the project is the research of a way to feed the soul, the body and the experience of both visitors and local communities.
This translated in the project with the main idea of the Hortus Conclusus, the medieval garden surrounded by walls, in which the monks grew officinal plants and dedicated themselves to meditation. The theme of ENCLOSURE is way to exlpore the theme and translate it into the project
Looking at the wide scale this trnslated in the creation of a cyclopedonal path connecting the town to the countryside. This path is crossed by different “rooms” of vegetation and 3 main resting points: one welcoming the visitors, one allowing them to rest and one to greet them at the beginning of the city.
The project of the Agricoltural Cooperative “Agricoltori Vallata di Levanto is developed around a central garden, following the main theme of the Hortus Conclusus, with new buildings that complete the existing ones.

The Waterhouse is composed by 2 parts: a fountain which also collects water from a creek and a storage area, whihc allows, when empty, space for small happenings and concerts.
URBAN PLANNING STUDIO
TASK: following a deep and accurate analysis of the city and the suburbs of Milan, design a new sustainable and inclusive neighborhood in a peripheric area of the city PROJECT: a mixed-use neighborhood which challenges the redevelopment of the neglected area of public housing of Quartiere Omero, based on the MANIFESTO FOR THE ACCESSIBLE CITY developed trough the analysis of Milan. LOCATION: Quartiere Omero, 4th municipality of Milan. The analysis of Milan were presented at the municipality of Milan and published online in various local and national papers LINK LINK LINK LINK The project won an honorable mention at the URBANPROMO GIOVANI international competition LINK
MANIFESTO FOR THE ACCESIBLE CITY A city is a cellular system that organizes itself like an organic tissue. The tissue works only trough the cooperation of its components. A city is accessible whet it let’s everyone take part to the urban funcitoning. Urban functioning is the synergy of possibilities of the city. Synergy happens when the urban elements work together like an organic tissue. Urban tissue is a cluster of dierent cells in a complex system with broad and widespread functioning as interaction of single urban activities.
Planimetric/volumetric view of the project The new accesible neighborhood relies on aggregation places, eďŹƒcient connections, green areas and community services.
The projects creates a link between the existing social housing (quartiere Omero) and the countryside (Parco Agricolo sud), implementing mixed-use residences and services.
