elcome everyone to our 14th sale. It has been a busy year already. I’m sure everyone is in full swing with calving & planning ahead to breeding season. Its crazy how fast that comes upon us. I’d like to invite you to look at our genetics this year we’ve got some Counselor options, KCF Bennett Diverse, Mediator, Windbreak, Nelson Night Sky, & Opportunist. Bulls available for viewing anytime prior to sale at the ranch & will be available at St Onge on the Thursday before the sale. We are welcoming Kelly and Amy Erickson (CK Bar Ranch) from Kadoka, SD with his Sim/Simangus bulls again this year. e would like to welcome you to our 2020 bull sale. This is our 19th bull sale and the 6th sale held with the Kammerer Family. I would like to thank Matt, April and family for letting Amy and I be apart of their sale. A big thank you goes out to all past buyers and bidders. We can’t thank you enough for supporting our cattle program.
It’s been a challenging year to be in the cattle business to say the least. From blizzards to the rough markets last fall; it hasn’t been fun to say the least. But it looks like the markets are turning in our favor and let’s hope the weather stays good. We can’t do much about the weather or the markets, but we can work to raise the best cattle that we can, and this year’s bulls will help you the producer accomplish that. The bulls represent over 30 years of breeding Simmental and Simangus cattle. They are a set of bulls that balance many economical traits from calving ease, growth, carcass and maternal traits. We have placed extra emphasis on disposition and every bull is very quiet and easy to handle. Again, this year we have free feed until May 1st along with a first-year breeding guarantee. For the first time we also will have 3 ranch horses in the sale that will flat out be workers. I would also like to welcome Tyrell and Tara Mitchell as guest consigners.
