Welcome to the Females of Fall Sale! Welcome to the inaugural “Females of Fall” event! A little over a year ago a group of progressive Red Angus breeders from Wisconsin started talking about putting this event together. Rather than throw the first one together in a hurry, they decided as a group to wait a year and do it right! You will no doubt recognize some of the breeders who are contributing to this event as long time breeders. There may be a couple that you might not recognize yet....but you will! The majority of the cattle being offered in this event are sired by some of the breed’s top sires from around the North American continent. You will also notice that many of them are from cow families that are well recognized through out the breed. I certainly believe the genetics we will offer you through this event will be second to none. In a time when dollars are a little shorter than they might have been in the past, genetics make a huge difference between just surviving and prospering! It is well documented through a multi year study done by Superior, the Red Angus and Red Angus influenced females are legitimately worth more money. Commercially, they garner $4 to $9 a hundred weight more than ANY other influencing breed! I encourage you to examine the lots being offered within the pages of this catalog and source out the genetics that will best fit your breeding program. If you have specific questions about any of the individual lots, please feel free to contact the consignors directly or myself, we will be more than happy to help you in any way that we possibly can. I honestly believe that genetics like those offered here will always be a good investment. The sale will also be broadcast live on DV Auction for your convenience if you are unable to attend in person. Originating from the Della cow line, 834s grand dam was a bottle calf, renamed Stella. With years of solid breeding behind her, sound footed, good udders, and big bodied calves are the result every year. Her dam and grand dam boast 102 and 101 MPPA’s on three and five calves respectively. Add style and length of Endurance to make this female a standout in the pen. If we were still showing cattle, this heifer would have risen to the top of the pen last year. These 7 bred heifers, Lot 47-53, come right out of the heart of the herd. We purchased EEC Profitbuilder this spring with the intention of breeding these elite heifers and reaping the rewards. Shortly after purchasing him, we decided to join this sale group and these heifers came to the top and are now being offered bred to this gorgeous Profitbuilder son. He maintained flesh all summer even after being in a large pasture with 20 heifers. The cow lines represent a wide range of our herd’s cow lines as well as some of our best herd sires from Green Mountain Red Angus (Trilogy) and RA Brown (Conquest). These heifers ought to work in any environment and rise to the top of the class.

The Blockana cows are some of the deepest ribbed females we have with brood cow written all over them. This girl is no exception, big ribbed, easy fleshing female with a great future ahead of her. Her sire was purchased from Bieber’s due to the Adelle cow line. We have had tremendous success with that line and really appreciate the thickness this moderate frame bull has brought to our herd. Her 2019 bull calf will be retained for herd usage next year.

This Galle female has maternal cow written all over her. Her sire, GMRA Trilogy, is sprinkled throught the herd. He has stamped maternal all over his daughters. Easy fleshing, nice udders, and a feminine look. She produced a fancy bull calf in 2018 that we retained and used on some of these sale cows-Bowden Chase B1812 (named after Paw Patrol since all five grandkids love the show).

This Cherabel daugher boasts an MPPA of 101. She puts a lot into her calves while maintaining a nice feminine look with body capacity. She is now 3 for 3 producing bulls with this year’s calf, and all three have weaned well over the herd average with 2 of the 3 being retained as bulls. This line orginated from the Boot Jack Ranch dispersal in 1998 and remains strong in our herd today.

The Stony cow line has produced some fantasic animals from the show ring to the pasture. This girl is only available as she is a later calver. Her dam B48 is still in the herd as a 10 year old and continues to produce year after year. She is a direct GMRA Justice daughter that we lost early due to an injury. We’ve kept a couple of his sons, as we love the added growth and power. Sells with a nice July bull calf sired by a Trilogy son.

I can remember purchasing the original Clemency from Bieber’s spring heifer sale in 1999. She had a black head and folks seemed to have discredited her for that. Cortney begged dad to just buy her as she was the real deal on paper. Glad we did, that cow line has stamped their look and maternal strength in our herd still 20 years later. B531 is a direct GMRA Trilogy daughter as well. She has a June bull calf by Brown Conquest that Wes and Cortney bought from RA Brown in 2012.

We have a few Pride females in the herd who go back to a Messmer Packer daughter who was arguably one of the top five females to ever walk the pastures at our place. This girl is a cherry red Schuler Flat Iron daughter who is an eye catcher. She is a proven producer. As a two year old, she produced a Trilogy son that we retained in the herd. On two calves, she already boasts a 106 MPPA. She sells with a flashy June heifer calf at side, sired by one of our young bulls whom we’ve seen some awesome calves from thus far.

T erms & C ond itions TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash, check, or other terms agreed to in writing between seller, buyer, and sale manager payable immediately upon conclusion of the sale before animals will be moved. Sale Manager reserves the right to require a certified check as settlement before releasing any cattle. Buyer hereby grants to Seller/Sale Manager a security interest in the livestock purchased to secure the payment of the purchase price, and Buyer further authorizes Seller/Sale Manager to file any necessary documents with any Secretary of State or other governmental entity necessary to perfect such security interest. ANNOUNCMENTS: Any errors or changes in information contained in the catalog will be announced from the block and such announcements shall take precedence over the information contained herein. BIDDING: Any disputes or challenges regarding bids or tie bids will be settled by the Auctioneer and the decision will be final. PURCHASER’S RISK: All animals are the owner’s risk prior to their sale and become property of the purchaser as soon as declared sold by the auctioneer. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A certificate of registry for each animal will be transferred to the buyer at the seller’s expense. FROZEN LOTS: Buyer is to pay for all shipping and handling of embryos and/or semen. Embryos and/or semen will be shipped COD or a separate account established at the storage facility within 30 days of sufficient payment unless other arrangements are made with Sale Manager and/or Seller. HEALTH: All animals are eligible for interstate shipment. Interstate health papers prepared by an accredited veterinarian will be furnished on each animal sold. Arrangements for International Shipment should be made with the Sale Manager prior to the auction. All efforts for the exportation of cattle can be arranged through the Sale Manager. BREEDING GUARANTEE: All animals are guaranteed by the seller as outlined in the Suggested Sale Terms of the Red Angus Association of America including but not limited to points 8 and 10. LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The seller, auction facility, and sale manager assume no liability for any accidents that may occur. Neither does the seller, auction facility, or sale manager assume liability for the loss or injury to livestock due to theft, mysterious disappearance, sickness, improper handling or Act of God. It is to be clearly understood that the sale manager and its representatives act only as a medium between the buyer and the seller. They are not responsible in any way for the failure on the part of the buyer and seller to live up to their obligations or for the truth of any warranties or representation, express or implied.
