Anabelle Rae has been a productive Milestone daughter out of HPF Miss D Rae Y042, who was the focus of building our small, but quality herd of Simmental cattle. The influence of D Rae on our herd continues to remind us why we choose her a decade ago when we bought our first Simmental cow. She was a solid red purebred that combined the Desa Rae and Perfection cow families into a powerfully built and feminine package with the structural soundness that we all want in our females.

A bull calf sired by One Eyed Jack was the Champion Bull Calf at Keystone in 2017 and later that fall won his class in Louisville where we sold him privately in the stalls the night before that show. Anabelle has averaged 15 frozen embryos on three IVF procedures. While it would be easy to just let this cow live out the rest of her productive life in our pasture, we have a solid inventory of embryoss in our tank from this donor, which gives us the comfort to part with the factory on this one.
