Welcome to the Sale

Young Angus is excited bring you its first private treaty offering. Ever since we started our program we have worked hard at building solid genetics. We have strived to build bulls that will produce thick moderate framed offspring and females that are fertile with great structure, solid feet, and amazing udders. We believe this year’s calf crop will do just that.

HOW OUR BULLS ARE RAISED: We raise our bulls on cover crops. Even after weaning our bulls are not pushed on grain. As soon as they are weaned we turn them out on a wheat, turnips, radish and vetch mix. They graze that until late February. They will be on a grower ration until opening day. We raise our bulls this way so they will be ready to go out and work for our customers.

SEMEN USE: Young Red Angus reserves the rights to collect bulls from this years offering. Several of the bulls will be collected immediately after the sale. This will be worked out with the new owner. The seller will cover all costs of collecting.

YOUNG RED ANGUS’ GUARANTEE: Our bulls are fertility and trichomoniases tested as well as pass a soundness exam prior to opening day. We guarantee our bulls fertility within 12 months of the sale day. Our guarantee only covers fertility.

Buyer assumes all risk that comes from bulls getting injured once the purchase has been made.

Sale Terms

Opening day of our private treaty sale will begin at noon on March 26th 2020.The sale will be a silent auction. Buyers will be able to place a bid for a bull once the sale opens. If multiple bids are placed for one bull at the end of the silent auction we will have a cowboy style auction between the buyers that have placed a bid. (Cowboy Auctions: Buyers will raise their hands and keep their hand in the air until there is only one bidder left.)
