Thank you for taking the time to look through this year’s offering for our 28th Annual Sale. We’re proud of these cattle and enjoy sharing them with folks who care about good Angus as much as we do. Our program is built around cattle that work every day and hold up over time: Bulls that Breed On. Females that Stay In. We believe in seedstock that go the distance—bulls that stay sound and fertile, and cows that keep doing their job year after year.

In the pages that follow, you’ll find a solid group of yearling bulls and a small set of open heifers—the kind we don’t let go lightly. These cattle are sound, productive, and built right, with performance and phenotype working together. All cattle have been DNA tested with AngusGS to help you sort genetics with confidence.

New this year, cattle will be offered via private treaty. Sale season moves fast, but choosing your next herd sire shouldn’t feel rushed. This format allows you to study the cattle and make a confident decision for your program. Cattle will be available first-come, first-serve following The Foundation Angus Sale on January 16 at the National Western Stock Show.

Bulls may be housed at no charge until June 1, 2026. We ask that females be picked up as soon as possible. If you have questions or want to visit about the cattle, give us a call—we’d love to learn more about your program!

We are located just one mile south of Pipestone on Hwy 23.

terms

Terms: Terms are cash or check payable at time of sale. Dandy Acres will retain a 1/4 semen interest and semen and certificate revenue in all bulls sold.

Guarantee: All bulls are guaranteed breeders for the first breeding season and will be semen tested prior to delivery.

Herd Health: All cattle will be sold in compliance with the health laws of the State of Minnesota. Health papers will be provided.

Delivery: Bulls can be delivered following semen testing in April or they may be housed, free of charge, at Dandy Acres through June 1, 2026 where they can be picked up at your convenience. We ask that females purchased be picked up as soon as possible.

As we venture back into the junior show ring, I’ve learned that sexed semen can work a little too well.
