We have an outstanding line-up of Proven Ranch and Rodeo Performance Horses and Upcoming Prospects in this year’s offering. The Sale offers something for everyone, so come prepared to find what you are looking for.

The ranch horses have all been used on ranches to drag calves to the fire, gather and sort cattle, doctoring, roping, etc. Many are experienced hunting horses as well. The rodeo performance horses are well trained. And if you are looking for a nice, gentle trail horse you have come to the right place. These horses will prove themselves over and over again for you whether you are working on a ranch, pleasure riding or competing for that championship.

A TOP HORSE COMPETITION will be held immediately following the PREVIEW! This will be a great opportunity to see some of the Top Horses not only in the Preview but also Performing in a real "RANCH HORSE" based competition!

A TOP HAND COMPETITION is conducted during the Preview. Consignors previewing their horses are judged for their horsemanship skills and ability to show their horse to the best of their potential.

2015 SALE HIGHLIGHTS

High Seller! A 10 year old extremely talented Buckskin gelding from Will & Ginger LaDuke sold for $17,500.

Playin Highbrow Tari, a 4 year old Bay Roan gelding—extremely well trained, solid ranch horse from Pine & Samantha McQuay sold for $10,300.

Bluestem Hoax (Frank), a good looking 6 year old Bay solid ranch horse and arena prospect from Tyler & Michelle Terry sold for $10,000.

Right on Diego (Goose), a 10 year old, all around Bay ranch gelding from Kiley Scott-Kocher brought $9,000.

JR Hancock No Eight, an 11 year old Blue Roan solid ranch gelding from Alvie Manning and rode

Mack is a nice 12 year old strawberry roan gelding. He's bred well, put together, will go anywhere, is willing, tough, and has a big heart and good mind. He has been roped off of at both ends (not 100% finished), used on the ranch extensively in rough country, drug calves at brandings and he never quits. Quiet temperament and gentle. Take a look at this extra nice little mare.

I have owned Rose for three years and she is one of the most athletic horses that I have ever ridden. She is not very big but don't let her size fool you, she can get the job done. Rose has never offered to buck however she does require a rider that is pretty handy as she is super catty. She was shown at the Reined Cowhorse Futurities before I bought her and is ate up with cow. Just about anyone can get along with this mare on the ranch and believe me, you won't want to ride anything else to work cows. She has a huge stop and will spin a hole in the ground. Rose will be started in the breakaway and on the heel side by sale day. Rose is also a 2D/3D barrel horse with very limited hauling. I believe that with a smaller rider she could easily be a 1D horse in the smaller pens. Watch for her in the Top Horse Competition. She is spayed.

"Drifty" is that plain colored horse that always gets noticed. She is thick and powerful with excellent conformation and her coat has a unique sparkle to it. Her resume looks as good as she does. On the ranch she has done everything. Rope and doctor in the pasture alone, drag calves to the fire, cut a cow, climb a hill, cross a river, ditch, or bog, she will do it all. Our daughters have taken her to 4H for county and state fair. She won Reserve Champion Overall Halter Mare (4H) at State Fair.

When the girls wanted to learn to rope in the branding pen she's the one we put them on. She's headed and heeled out of the box, been to ranch sortings, been in parades, and done the Pony Express Re-Ride. When non-horse friends come to visit and want to ride a horse, we can trust Drifty to take care of them. Don't let that fool you, though, she is no dead head, she's got tons of power and cow. We've used her long days and never found the bottom. She's Dad's go-to horse to get the job done. We raised this nice mare and owned both her sire and dam. Elvis is a very gentle and easy to get along with horse that any one can ride. He hasn't been hauled off the ranch very often but will be hauled all summer until sold. He has been started on the barrels over the winter and shows lots of ability. I will start him roping up until the sale. Elvis has the attitude that really tries to please his rider. I think if someone put a little time seasoning him he could make a great youth all-around rodeo or ranch horse. He has been used to move cows, tag calves, brand calves and pretty much for all phases of ranch work.

"June" is a 2013 14.2h registered APHA red roan overo mare. She is standout both in color and in talent.
