FALL FEMALE SALE
1
red angus black angus red & black baldies
NOVEMBER 19TH
Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to look at this catalog and the females we have to offer. We will never take that time you spend here for granted. You are appreciated. It has been a wild few years. We are in our 3rd year of drought, and things have gotten pretty harsh. It is bad enough not to have grass, but then when the water dries up a person realizes there are things far worse than no grass. As we planned our way through this continued drought we stayed firm that we have the Fall Female Sale every year! We held on to these cows, even though it meant using managemnt practices we don’t normally use. We have grazed them out as much as possible, but we have fed hay and cake also... just to get these cows through until November 19th. We are so grateful to be able to offer you these females. We hope they go into your program and are an asset to you. Sincerely, Jason & Kim

K2 Red Angus
Jason, Kim, Laynie & Cole Goertz 2 S. Goertz Road, Wheatland, WY 82201 307-331-2917, kcullen@wyoming.com k2redangus.com K2 Red Angus has been raising Red Angus cattle for over 25 years, and in those years always focusing on building good maternal genetics that work well in a low input environment. These cattle are bred for good structure in feet and legs, excellent udder quality, high fertility, great disposition, and they need to do all this with limited inputs and tough range conditions. No female offered by K2 Red Angus in this sale has ever been open at preg checking. High Elevation cattle—We have been PAP testing all of our bulls and some females for the past 26 years. The cattle in this sale should work well at high elevations. K2 Bred heifers (lots 4-6) have been preg checked in August so that we could determine age of pregnancy. They are guaranteed to be pregnant if the buyer chooses to have them re-checked before December 31, 2026. We will refund or credit the difference on any heifers that have lost a pregnancy. K2 Bred Cows (lots 1-2, 11-16) Have been preg checked within 10 days of the sale. They are guaranteed bred at that time. Ages: Since we are going by actual age of each cow, the age listed is her age as of November 19, 2026. All K2 Bred heifers & cows have been vaccinated with Virashield 6VL5 at preg check. They have been on Redmond Garlic salt for fly and lice control.

TY Cattle Co.
Dean & Marika Anderson 570 TY Basin Rd Chugwater, WY 82210 Marika 307-351-4760 Dean 307-351-5600 Dean & Marika are lifelong ranchers, as part of the West Family Ranch, and then going out on their own with TY Cattle Co 16 years ago. They have been good friends and good neighbors of ours for a long time. They raise Red Angus & Red Angus cross cattle. Even though they raise commercial cattle, Marika has the records to trace the pedigree for several generations on all their cows, especially the calves resulting from their many years of AI breeding. They now have many K2 herd sires in their herd that are bulls we collect and use semen on in our registered herd. When it comes to bull power we think they have some of the best out there. Raising and breeding females for this sale is a part of TY Cattle Co’s operation every year, not just when it is dry or price is right. They produce cattle specifically to sale here.
Herd Health Vaccinated in May at branding with Vista 5 VL5 SQ and poured with Vetrimec. Poured with Vetrimec at preg checking. They have had Vitalix tubs and Redmond Garlic Salt, along with native pasture and some supplemental hay due to drought conditions.

Roth Land & Cattle Keith & Christina Roth 970 State Hwy 270 Hartville, WY 82215 rothcattle.com Keith 307-338-8708, Christina 307-338-7639 Roth Land & Cattle is a family-owned commercial Red Angus cow-calf operation that focuses on breeding high-quality heifers for ranchers. While raising Red Angus females for the commercial cattleman, we have noticed a growing demand for Red Baldy heifers. After working with and purchasing bulls from K2 Red Angus over the past 10 years, we have partnered to offer this excellent selection of baldy and brockle-faced bred heifers from K2 customers—including our own herd. These are the same baldy heifers you’ve come to love at the K2 & Friends Fall Female Sale. Our ranch is situated in eastern Wyoming, near the historic town of Hartville. Our cattle graze and calve on the open range, but they have a gentle and easy-going disposition. Our main goal has always been to produce heifers with strong maternal traits, bred to premium calving-ease bulls that will produce quality calves at weaning. Vaccination Schedule BoviShield Gold, StayBred VL5, MultiMin Clean Up II Mineral Program:MinexPro Redmond Salt + Garlic Guarantee:All heifers are guaranteed bred. They were preg checked and pregnancys dated in August and checked again before the sale by Laramie Peak Vet.

Marsh & Ellis Ranch Phillip Ellis & Jacob Nix Chugwater, WY 82210 307-331-0451 Marsh and Ellis Ranch is a Centennial Ranch on Bear Creek southeast of Chugwater, Wyoming. It was founded by Earl Marsh in 1923. However, he had grown up two miles down Bear Creek from our present ranch. His parents, France Marsh and Amanda Yoder had settled on Bear Creek in the 1880’s. Earl established our ranch as the open range was closing. After World War II, he took in his nephew Bill Ellis as his partner on the ranch. He was early to realize the need for quality cattle, purchasing registered Hereford cattle in 1937. We raised seedstock Herefords and ran stocker cattle for a half century. About forty years ago we transitioned out of seedstock to a commercial cow operation. Today we run a cow / calf operation raising Red Angus / Hereford cross cattle. The ranch is run by Bill’s son Philip Marsh Ellis and nephew Jacob B. Nix – 3rd and 4th generation on this ranch and 5th and 6th generation on Bear Creek. We carry the calves to yearlings, selling long yearling steers and breeding the heifer yearlings to keep and sell as replacement bred heifers. We still do all our cattle work with horses. We are blessed to be ranching, raising cattle and families on Bear Creek and on the same Wyoming short grass prairie one hundred forty years later.

Huston Family
Cam, Abby, Halle & Keen Huston 1258 Hightower Road Wheatland, WY 82201 307-761-3913 The Huston family has a unique, small herd of cattle that are very high quality. Abby has worked in the AI industry for 15 years and has used that knowledge and skill to help create this herd. These cattle are only being sold due to drought conditions and water supplies drying up. This is the final group that they wanted to keep - so they are the best they have! Preg Checked October 5, 2026 Vaccinated with Virashield 6 VL5 and poured with Clean-Up
CO Bar Cattle
Cole Goertz & Laynie Goertz 2 S. Goertz Road Wheatland, WY 82201 New sellers (our kids) in this year’s sale. These two have been raised, and worked, all their life in the livestock industry. In the Fall Female sale of 2025 they purchased the Cullen Ranch heifers that were AI bred Hereford. The purpose of this was specifically to calve these heifers, breed them back, and offer them as bred 3’s for this sale. This has turned out to be a great set of heifers to start with - weaning a 100% calf crop. Vaccinated with Virashield 6VL5 at preg check. Have been Preg checked within 10 day of the sale, guaranteed pregnant at that time. They have been on Redmond Garlic salt for fly and lice control. 10
Cullen Ranch Cullen Ranch
Sherri & Pat Cullen cell 307-331-1180 654 Deer Creek Road Wheatland, WY 82201 These cattle come from Kim’s parents. Pat & Sherri have been selling consistent, high quality bred heifers for many years, with many long term and repeat customers. Cullen Ranch has been selling bred heifers for over 30 years. They raise moderate cows (dries weighing 1200lbs in June 2025) with nice conformation and sound structure. For generations the mothers of these heifers have calved in range conditions with only supplemental hay. Perhaps most importantly, they have selected for disposition in all these generations of females. These cattle are worked with horses and ATVs, handled slowly and quietly. Basically they are bred, raised, and handled to fit well into any program. Preg checked August 26, 2026 Vaccinated with Virashield 6 VL 5 and Scourguard Poured with Ivermax These heifers were preg checked in August so that we could determine age of pregnancy. They are guaranteed to be pregnant if the buyer chooses to have them re-checked before December 31, 2026. Cullen Ranch will refund or credit the difference on any heifers that have lost a pregnancy.
