Dear Fellow Cattlemen, It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Ed Kaehler Homedale Cattle Company Annual Private Treaty Bull Sale in Eyota, MN. Calves will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Visitors are welcome anytime. We will be holding an open house on Saturday, March 9, and all are welcome to attend. We will have the bulls penned off and donuts and coffee will be served!

Videos of all the bulls will be on our website: ekhcc.com We have put together an impressive set of bulls backed by many years of progressive Simmental and Angus genetics that will meet your needs. We remained focused on developing bulls with structurally sounds feet and legs that possess a functional, easykeeping skeletal frame. Most importantly, we look to develop bulls that will efficiently add pounds to you, our customer, at weaning.

Every bull in this sale has been raised on our farm and is from a cow that has been retained in our herd for a reason. On the sire side, we have carefully selected the AI sires and consistently invested in new herd sires to provide you with the best performing genetics possible. As you inspect the group, you will appreciate the consistency and depth of quality.

LETTER FROM OUR VETERINARIAN

The Ed and Julie Kaehler Family beef farm is a well-managed, high herd health enterprise that we have provided veterinary services to for over 40 years. The cattle are routinely vaccinated for reproductive, respiratory, and clostridial diseases. The cows are pregnancy tested by palpation or ultrasound and the bulls are semen tested by our clinic. The replacement heifers are calf-hood vaccinated. The Kaehler family prides themselves in providing healthy, disease free, high genetic stock to their customers. We have been happy to provide good veterinary care to them.

RETAINED INTEREST IN BULLS Ed Kaehler’s Homedale Cattle Co. retains a one-third revenue sharing semen interest in all bulls selling. The buyer has full possession and 100% salvage value of the bull.

GUARANTEE ON BULLS All bulls selling are guaranteed to be breeders and have passed or will pass a breeding soundness exam performed by a licensed veterinarian. This is a full and unconditional guarantee for the first breeding season. If you are not happy, we will make it right. A replacement bull of equal value will be provided if the bull needs to be replaced. If a bull of equal value is not available, a credit will be applied to the next Ed Kaehler Family Bull Sale, less salvage value of the injured bull. Please notify EKHCC as soon as possible should something occur.
