Welcome to the 18th annual Kammerer bull sale. We are so excited to announce our new date & location. We feel these changes work better with our program and are better for the bulls.

The sale is set for Wednesday, April 17, 2024 @1pm. In addition to new date we are also moving the sale to the Bull Pen which is located at Amanda’s house (14551 Horseshoe Rd, Piedmont, SD 57769). This is one mile north of our driveway and half mile east on Horseshoe Rd. The easiest way is Exit 61 (Flying J/Common Cents exit) out of Rapid City.

I’d like to give the yearly update on who makes up the Kammerer Livestock crew. Dillon will be graduating in May from WDT with his meat processing degree. He has processed some hogs on his own in his Meat Shack. He will continue working for Wall Meats after graduatioin.

Dillon is still in the sheep business with Jessica. Jake is helping here at the house, building fence, and working on his own cow herd. Jessica is working for The Livestock Link, A.I.ing with Anita Pepin, preg testing, and for Cattle Business Weekly. Amanda is working for Tr-State Livestock News & AK Horse Sales hosted its 2nd horse sale this past fall in Belle Fourche.

Jessica has took over the breeding program and paperwork for the cowherd. We are so happy with the changes while still keeping the length and bone in our cow herd. We work hard on finding good genetics that work for our cowherd, but also for yours. We strive to maintain good foot quality, udders, and docility. Please note that we offer actual weights in the catalog.

Our Sale can be viewed on The Livestock Link and bidding can be done on the internet also.

Free Delivery: Free Delivery of bulls within 350 miles with purchase over $3,000. Discount of $50 per/bull given if picked up sale day by buyer.

Kammerer Livestock Guarantee: Fertility 100% guaranteed. All bulls guaranteed as breeders thru 1st breeding season. Credit will be given back minus salvage value toward next year’s sale or a replacement can be chosen if available.

Kammerer Livestock will retain 1/3 semen interest in all bulls selling.
