Sale Terms

Announcements day of sale take precedence over catalog. Auctioneer’s decision is final.

Sale Time: 1:00 p.m. MDST, Saturday, February 16, 2019 | Sale Location: Nenzel Community Building Lot Numbers: Ear tags and freeze brands will correspond with numbers in catalog.

Possession: The buyer assumes possession of the bulls upon proper payment the day of the sale unless arrangements have been made with the seller to keep the bulls and deliver or pickup at a later date. In the event of an animal’s injury or death while at seller’s ranch after the sale, seller will assume 50% of the risk. A credit will be issued for another animal or for a purchase at next year’s sale.

Delivery: FREE DELIVERY within 250 miles of Valentine. Beyond 250 miles, a charge of $2.00 per loaded mile will be charged. Delivery will be made by April 1st unless arrangements have been made for seller to keep the animal for delivery or pickup at a later date. A service charge of $4.00 per head per day will be charged after April 1st until bull is delivered or picked up. DISCOUNT: $100 off per bull if bull is taken home day of the sale.

Herd Health: All bulls have a complete vaccination record and they will be fertility tested, scrotal measured and guaranteed sound by Dr. Brad Rogers, Cherry County Veterinary Clinic, 402-376-3750, Valentine, NE. A certificate of fertility can be furnished upon request. All bulls are eligible for interstate shipment, except as otherwise announced. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal in accordance with all State and Federal regulations.

Registration Papers: A copy of pedigrees and EPD’s will be provided to each buyer. Registration papers can be transferred upon request.

Terms & Conditions: These cattle will sell under terms and conditions adopted by the American Angus Association, except as otherwise stated.

Guarantee: All bulls selling are guaranteed for 90 days from the first turn out against breeding injury. Credit for amount of purchase minus $1500 will be applied toward another bull if available or applied toward the purchase of another bull in next year’s sale. Buyer keeps the salvage value of the injured bull. Buyer should notify seller as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to selling injured bull for salvage. This is not mortality insurance nor does it cover mismanagement or neglect.
