You are invited to attend our OPEN House bull sale March 3, 2018. Thank you to everyone who attended our sale a year ago.

We are pleased to have the Wagners contributing 8 excellent bulls to this sale. Joe Hickel will handle the bidding process again this year.

My favorite thing to look at is an Angus pedigree full of old cows. Old cows represent great things to me: Fertility, and the just right amounts of size, performance, milk and soundness. Building a great cowherd is not a sprint, it is a marathon.

The bulls we are offering for sale are the results of our grass and hay cowherd. The cows do not receive lick tubs, silage, grain or supplemental fat. And our calves never receive creep feed. I will not add unnecessary expensive inputs just to create the illusion of progress. The bulls are being fed the same as the last 19 years. Grass hay, alfalfa hay free choice in bale feeders. They are fed wheat mids pellets and ground corn; half of each and never exceed 11 lbs. per day total. I stay away from maximum feeding of these bulls. I want you to know exactly what they look like, not the extra inflated overdone look. Obese bulls are just future problems.

I am very proud of the genetics represented in these bulls, and confident in their ability to consistently produce productive females for you. I have never had a membership in the Angus bull of the month club. I prefer to know the people behind the
