CREIGHTON LIVESTOCK MARKET
CREIGHTON, NEBRASKA

Welcome to our annual bull sale! Our 2026 lineup is backed by over 50 years of dedication to Simmental and SimAngus breeding. Our commitment has always been to breed cattle that work for you in the real world—cattle that raise their calves, wean heavy weights, calve with confidence, and hold up through years of production.
The cattle market this year continues to present great opportunities and challenges. Supplies of feeder cattle and cowherds remain tight across the U.S., keeping prices strong and demand high as we move into 2026. With beef inventories low and demand robust, quality genetics that perform in the pasture and the feedlot have never been more valuable.
At Sandy Acres, we’ve responded to these realities by offering a set of bulls that fit today’s commercial needs. This lineup offers genetics that promote fertility, milk quality, and longevity so you can build cows that stay profitable year after year. You’ll find bulls that offer calving ease without giving up growth delivering the performance you want at weaning and beyond, with low feed-intake efficiency and carcass traits. This offering brings bulls strong in DNA and EPD profiles with practical, real-world value.
Whether your goal is to produce productive replacement females, heavy feeder calves for the feedlot, or a balanced program that does both, there’s strength in this lineup. Our focus on maternal traits, calving ease, performance, and efficiency reflects decades of refinement—and the kind of cattle that will help you navigate the current market with success.
We invite you to join us for the sale on Friday, February 20th. Cattleusa.com will be hosting the sale online and will be available for online bidding. If you have questions about online sale sign-up, do not hesitate to contact us or the sale barn. In addition, you’re welcome to stop by the farm anytime and preview the bulls and discuss your production needs. We appreciate your trust and interest in our program and look forward to continuing to serve your needs.

GUARANTEE Sandy Acres Simmental carries a first breeding season guarantee which is 90 days from the turn out date. All bulls are guaranteed against breeding soundness, injury, and death for this time period. If a bull is injured or dies, a satisfactory replacement will be provided or a credit will be issued for next year’s sale for the bull’s full purchase price, less value and/or salvage value received. Please contact us as soon as a problem arises to receive full credit.
YEARLING CARE We are firm believers in the use of yearling bulls and feel it is one of the best years of their lives. It is a time when they are easy to manage and their only concern is breeding cows. We have found that yearling bulls that are managed carefully during the second year of their lives not only do well, but they also perform better over time. Below are suggested guidelines for care of yearling bulls:
1. Upon delivery, keep yearling bulls separate from older bulls and feed them a maintenance ration of 5-8 pounds per head of grain and free choice hay. Reduce the amount of grain gradually, so that the bulls are on straight hay or grass 2-4 weeks prior to the breeding season.
2. Where possible, try to limit the bulls to 45-60 days of pasture service for the first year. At this time, remove the bulls and put them in separate pastures with good, quality grass.
3. You will see the benefit of a little added cost and care by probably two or three additional years of service!
