the side of his family farm operation as a herd manager.
We are excited to be having our sale take place for the third year at the Kimball Livestock Exchange in Kimball South Dakota on February 19, 2026! We certainly appreciate the opportunity provided by the owners of Kimball Livestock to host our live sale at their historic facility.
We are tremendously proud of the bulls selling this year. Our focus has always and will always be on commercial cattle producers. We have built our cow herd with strict selection parameters to capitalize on maternal traits, longevity, performance, fertility, udder quality, and overall prevailing design. P3 Angus is defined by three core values:
1. Power 2. Performance 3. Pedigree. Power is obtained through visual emphasis on genetics with muscle mass, volume, and core width and dimension. Performance comes from emphasis on producing progeny which grow fast and do so with efficiency. Pedigree is derived from our emphasis on utilizing maternal cows which have proven themselves and more importantly continued to prove their genetics in subsequent generations. When making our breeding plans each year, it is pivotal to always improve the genetics at hand. We strongly believe in balancing both phenotypic and genotypic traits. This means utilizing Epds and genomics as tools to help predict genetic merit, but not for sole reliance.… in other words, if a genomic test predicts a trait to improve, we will endorse it only when the raw data and visual phenotype portray it…. The paper values must couple with ideal phenotypic design. At the end of the day, great herd sires come from great cows, and we feel we have built a herd with great validity. In the last 24 years, we have worked diligently to breed the absolute best seed stock we feel fit the guidelines stated above. We have done this aggressively through AI and embryo transfer modalities during our over twodecade existence. Our ET program has continually been an emphasis and will continue to be a centerpiece to proliferate superior genetics through our new ET lab and utilization of fellow cooperator herds.
When you look through the offering, there are a multitude of flush matings from our premier donors. There are both 18-month-old and spring yearling bulls in this year’s sale. These bulls will compliment many programs in dynamic ways as we consider optimal value in both grid and live weight programs. The overriding strength of many of these bulls will come from weaning and yearling growth as confirmed by performance and projected genomic testing in the upper percentiles of the breed.
As we continue to breed for the future, we can assure the things you expect and the input we receive will always be strongly considered. As cattle producers, we are extremely gifted with the opportunity to control the genetics behind our cow herds.
We wish everyone the best of luck in the new year and hope to see you at our sale on February 19th! Please do not hesitate to call at anytime if you have questions. Herd visits are always welcome. It is our goal to align you with genetics that fit your operations. We take integrity serious here, your investment considerations will be treated the same as ours, with respect and honesty!
- Nagorske Brothers
Our mindset around here is that true performance tends to come from a little bit of birth weight. If you really want to add 50-100lbs of weaning weight to your calf crop then you need to use a sire that has frame, muscle, and weight. As today’s genomic portal has tended to turn into more of a lottery ticket for birthweight EPD, we feel it is important to set your parameters a little broader; do not get caught up on 2-3lbs of difference in the birth weight EPD for cows. From a 3-6 we strongly feel there is not a lot of difference. Generally, you will find actual birth weights of calves within 3-6 BW EPD bulls will be all over the board on actual birth weights but within the same realm of weight. We have also seen where genomically enhanced EPDs indicate calving ease while the birth weight of the bull is over 90 lbs. The point here is to pay attention to the birth weight of the bulls and rely on that data more than the genomic indicators. Also, please ask us questions. If a bull is suggested for heifers, we have indicated it in the footnotes.

MADAME PRIDE 8026 Dam of Lot 1 S A V GLORY DAYS 1832 Sire of Lot 1

This is the kind of bull most breed for and is produced by Nagorske Madame Pride 8026, a favorite female by SAV Renown for those who visit. She commands legit prowess in the donor pen in terms of her overall design, voluminous ribcage and pristine udder structure. Her picture says it all. She consistently produces offspring with high growth and specifically in terms of weight per day of age. He combines growth with exquisite phenotypic design and had the heaviest weaning and yearling weights of the fall bull contemporary group. Lot 1, along with his maternal brother selling as lot 28, both reign as the top weight per day of age bulls and both are ET calves. This bull is one of the best we have made to date and will be an exciting attraction on this year’s sale.

NAF PRISCILLA 6004
Maternal Granddam of Lot 2

Bull · Angus · BD: 7/21/24 · AAA# 21393415 · Tattoo: 4073 2
LAR Man in Black is the sire of this amazing prospect and his dam a legitimate first calf heifer. She stems from one of our premier donor lines, the Priscilla cow family, and a direct daughter of NAF Priscilla 6004 who has produced 25 progeny through our embryo program. This bull compliments body mass and an absolute stellar EPD profile. His dam has a nearly flawless udder and superb foot structure. He ranks in the top 8% of the breed for weaning weight and then in the top percentiles for carcass weight, marbling and ribeye area. If you put value in index values, he uniquely ranks in the top 20-30 percentiles for $M, $W, $F, $ G, $B and $C.

Two of our favorite rancher bulls, these two would go good together on a set of cows, both measuring over 6.5 frame, the kind that make big framed, green looking, heavy feeder calves! They are also backed by maternally bred cows that would make one great set of replacement females.

The bull featured here will be a legitimate heifer bull sired by Ellingson Badlands. The dam of this bull has a multitude of flush sisters, and all were retained within the herd. One of which is Nagorske Priscilla 1006, who sold the Nagorske Verified bull in last year’s sale and is a donor favorite for visitors. This bull also ranks in the top 4% of the breed for $M.

This is an ET Bull out of one of our most coveted donors, NB Priscilla 8001. She displays 4 progeny average weaning ratios of 111 with a 344-day calving interval. She is appreciated for her massive ribcage, dimension through her chest floor and carries ideal udder quality. Her progeny are known best for their growth characteristics and ideal phenotypic design requisite of the cow family. This bull carries tremendous body depth and eye appeal. His flush sister was the top fall heifer calf for weaning and yearling weight and will be a sure-fire donor. Genomically, he ranks in the top 16% of the breed for yearling weight.

The sire of this bull, Three Rivers, has consistently injected growth parameters into his progeny. This one will be no different and is the last ET calf to sell out of Nagorske Priscilla 329. She is now deceased and the matriarch of our Priscilla cow family with over 20 calves produced in the AI and ET program. Requisite of his dam, he carries tremendous body depth and length of spine. He will be ideal for the cowman looking for desirable growth parameters and certainly sports balanced carcass parameters in the upper percentiles of the breed. His maternal sister, Nagorske Priscilla 1006, is a donor favorite to those who visit and she produced Nagorske Verified in last year’s sale who now resides at the Katus Ranch.

These bulls stem from the Madame Pride cow family and specifically the pathfinder dam, NB Madame Pride 8029. She is known for producing cattle with added capacity and muscle. The Lot 7 bull had a set of flush brothers who sold in last years sale and he would be the power bull of the flush. He has tremendous performance and added dimension compared to the flushmates. Therefore, this guy will work best on cows and add power. Lot 8 is a Revered son and will indeed work as a heifer bull and is reconciled with his 72 lb birthweight. He has some curve bending tendency from birth to yearling with growth and ranks in the top 10% for $M. He is big nutted and this is reflected in his scrotal measurement and EPD.

SAV Net Worth was one of our favorite bulls of the past and one who produced amazing maternal females. Therefore, we mated him through embryo transfer to the dam of this bull as lot 13. His dam, Nagorske Madame Pride 2205, took honors as being the top 1% weaning and yearling EPD female of the entire Angus Breed. Her Genomic percentile rank based on more than 1.8 million animals in the Angus Breed is also in the top 1% for weaning weight and top 2% for yearling weight. This was the reason for going back to Net worth to sire this bull. He is a deep bull with tremendous muscle shape. He now just has a fresher pedigree injecting relevant expectations for growth as he ranks genomically in the top %5 and 8% for weaning and yearling weight.

A big, framed bull sired by KLA Cherokee resides as the Lot 9 bull here. He will indeed add frame and desirable growth to a calf crop. He is a balanced bull all around both genotypically and phenotypically, especially when you consider his growth and carcass EPD’s. He ranks in the upper percentiles for $F, $C and $B. His dam would be one of the larger cows in our herd, and she ratioed well on weaning and yearling weight amongst contemporaries at 104 and 115.

NAGORSKE DEEP CUT 5101
Lot 21 as a Calf

NAGORSKE PRISCILLA 9027
Dam of Lot 21
It becomes impressive when a bull stands out all the way from birth to weaning in a calf crop. Lot 21 will be a sale highlight this year as a total power bull. He was a noticed by visitors in the pasture this year and he continues to impress amongst his contemporaries today. His dam serves as a donor in our program and consistently produces bulls with superb muscle shape and dimension. He was a natural calf on her this year, and we went right back to making full sib embryos again. This is all complimented with performance where his weight per day of age ranked amongst the top of the group from birth to yearling. He genomically checks the boxes as well while ranking in the top 7% for weaning and 14% for yearling weight.

ERICA OF ELLSTON T220 Flush sister to the dam of Lots 22-24
The dam of the following semen stud sires: BA7 Oaks Bold Ruler (Alta Genetics), Baldridge War Cry, Baldrige Grindstone (Genex)

Here is a rare and valuable genetic opportunity – the best set of flush brothers to sell this year in our entire offering. This mating is directly out of a full sister to the oh so rich and famous Erica of Ellston T220. Landi McFarland from Hoover Angus said, “the dam of X52 and T220 is Erica of Ellston R96 who would be the best living cow in our herd today, and her grandmother was the best cow in our 98 year history of the program”. When you can stack numerous proven cows in a pedigree, it makes things much more predictable. With that said Ellingson Prosper 3050 brings just that to the other side of the pedigree! The Prosper calves have been a highlight this year and the flush sisters to these three bulls are nothing short of magnificent.
When you evaluate these bulls, you will find a perfect set of feet under them, long-bodied, big framed, and bulls with plenty of ribcage. These three also are nice headed, long fronted and good nutted. When you evaluate the genomic profile here, it is quite astonishing. We do not breed with the goal to elevate EPDS here but when performance, phenotype, stacked maternal lineage, and EPDS align, it puts a sire prospect into a category of their own. Although there are some slight individual differences, lot 22 and 23 are genomically elite. We believe these could be some of the best sons to sell out of not only a cow family that is somewhat rare to invest into but also when considering their phenomenal sire, Ellingson Prosper.

A complete runaway performance bull with genomically enhanced EPD’s in elite categories across multiple traits. This bull combines extreme carcass metrics, all while holding together his spectacular visual phenotype. This one would be fun to have sire a load of either feeder or fat cattle. From a genomic standpoint, this young sire ranks in the top 1% for WW, top 2% for YW & $W, Top 3% for YH, CW, and $C, top 5% $B, and top 10% for Marbling, Angus on Dairy, $F, & $G, top 15% for Ribeye Area, MW and Functional Longevity. Although the BW EPD is elevated on this particular bull, his actual birth weight is 89 lbs, just perfect for making growthy calves! Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to add a bull that would combine a tremendous amount of superior phenotypic and genotypic traits.

The story reads similar here as the lot 1 bull, who is this bull’s maternal brother. This says a lot about the cow, Nagorske Madame Pride 8026, who in this sale has the top weight per day of age bulls in both the fall and spring bulls. This is further exemplified genomically where he ranks in the top 2% of the Angus breed for weaning weight and top 15% for yearling weight. Stop here and go read the sale notes for lot 1. As stated above, the donor here commands legit prowess in the donor pen in terms of her overall design, voluminous ribcage and pristine udder structure. Her picture says it all and it’s fun when she can combine performance with eye appeal. Full sisters will be coveted and kept in the herd as future donors.

Take a step back on this one and realize he is one of the youngest bulls in the offering. And yet, look at how he’s developed relative to the group. It certainly helps when he achieved the second highest weight per day of age amongst the spring bulls. Do not sleep on this one. We have full sisters being kept back in the herd from the ET program. His donor dam sold in our 2024 sale to Gilliland Livestock in California as one of the female features of the sale. He is long spined and portrays a stylish profile with added dimension. This bull genomically ranks in the top 2% of the Angus breed for yearling weight and 9% for weaning weight. The carcass parameters are balanced and toward the top of the breed as well. His granddam is a pathfinder, Nagorske Eileen 9031 who continues to sell valuable progeny in our program.

This guy is the youngest bull in the offering and we had to include him after his developmental progress in the spring bull pen. He would be the last progeny from a herd bull we developed and used until he was deceased, Nagorske Banker 8002. He was adored by some of the great cowman in the industry when they visited the pasture and his son here exemplifies the power he transmitted. It will be interesting come sale day where this bull lands on weight given his skeletal dimension. His Raindance dam has a near perfect udder structure and is known for her maternal characteristics.
