Jerry speaks very highly of his VRD dam. We were searching for an outcross calving ease bull to use heavily and after sampling Courage, we were impressed enough to make him our heaviest used outside AI sire for our 2015 calf crop. His sons are long bodied, have plenty of middle and muscle and offer a bit more total performance than his sire, Confidence.

His daughters are feminine, moderate females that are very easy keeping. We anxiously await the production potential of the Courage females.

Revere was purchased from Tehama Angus Ranch in California in the fall of 2013. He is an impressive individual possessing extra depth, extreme muscle shape and excellent feet with added heel depth. He has met and surpassed our expectations as a sire. Revere added muscle mass, depth and excellent hoof structure to his bull calves without increasing frame size. His daughters are big bodied, power females.

Revere is a very potent and consistent sire passing on depth, muscle and power, coupled with clean, attractive fronted progeny regardless of the phenotype or pedigree of the female he is mated to. Revere’s dam is a productive cow who records a WR of 3/109. Her production coupled with the udder quality of the Sierra Cut females has us expecting Revere’s daughters to be very nice uddered, high ratioing cows.

Revere froze semen only one time and consequently we will continue his influence with several of his sons.

Dominion was retained out of our 2010 fall calf crop as the best son to date of S Queen Essa 208, one of our herd matriarchs and top donor cows. Dominion has exceeded our expectations as a breeding bull. His progeny exhibit excellent Angus breed character, are deep middled and sound structured. These traits are complimented with excellent calf vigor and calving ease.

Dominion’s flush sisters are very nice uddered, feminine, fertile young cows, and two of them are now in our donor lineup. The progeny of Dominion represent a home grown outcross calvingease and maternal sire with competitive performance at weaning and yearling.

S Chisum 2139 was bred and raised here and was selected

by Farview Angus Ranch in 2013 as a calving ease sire. He is an impressive mature bull. He is very long bodied and is an extremely heavy muscled, thick quartered bull. He has earned his place in our lineup by naturally covering 50 plus heifers as a yearling and a two year-old. We calved all of those heifers and only assisted one calf each year. He no longer reads like a heifer bull, but consistently transmits length and muscle to his offspring much like Chisum 6175, his sire. 2139’s daughters are really close to calving. They are a stand out sire group at this point for thickness and fleshing ability. Their udders are clean and well attached, with small evenly spaced teats.
