That hasn’t happened, so we’ve made the decision to try to consolidate back to fall calving for now. She raised a nice heifer last year we are keeping as a replacement, and she’s done a nice job with her Justice bull calf at side this year.

Her maternally stacked pedigree layers Hook’s Bounty, TNT Tanker, Preferred Beef, Nichols Legacy, 3C Wally, and Irish Black Knight back to a Leachman-bred cow Chris bought out of Montana in 2002. As it turned out, Flower would be carrying the future herd sire, MF/BMF Hilljack, which we bought back through our co-op program. When we decided she had earned her spot on the donor roster, we approached Janie and bought back half interest in this special female.

Flower is representative of the disciplined frame and, efficient, functional type, and nearly ideal udders this line is known for.

Backed by this cow family and considering his EPD profile, we feel Lot 31A is a young herd bull prospect with a lot of potential to grow up and be a real cow maker! We’re offering choice of Flower’s natural bull calf by Homeland or her two ET heifers by IR Original, and there’s no wrong answer for this choice lot!
