! e m o c l e W Traxinger Simmentals 2019 Bull Sale will be held on Wednesday February 13th starting at 1:00 P.M.

We will again offer 50 Red and Black Simmental/SimAngusTM bulls. The offering includes several new sires but also several proven bloodlines as well. All the bulls are solid colored and several have been tested for Homo Polled and black, plus the dilution gene (reds).

DV auction will assist us again this year and there support group can be reached at 402-316-5460. Please visit with them prior to the sale to familiarize yourself with the process in the event you have never used their service. This does require high speed internet and instructions to access the web page can be found on page 18.

Jeff Thomas (406) 581-8859 and Colton Buss (605) 214-3532 will both be helping us on sale day and can assist you with your selection. Both of these men have an astute eye for cattle and you can feel confident with their appraisal.

We do encourage you to view the bulls prior to sale day and visit about your selection of a herd bull. If you need any additional information on a particular bull please contact us. So if time permits, stop in and check out the offering and enjoy a cup of coffee. We’re certain that you’ll find a bull you like.

Homozygous Black - All calves will be black if mated to a black or non-dilutor red cow.

Heterozygous Black - If mated to a non-dilutor red cow ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red.

Homozygous Polled - All calves will be polled.

Heterozygous Polled - If mated to a horned cow ½ of the calves will be polled and ½ will be horned.

Non-Dilutor - If mated to a heterozygous black cow, ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red. If mated to a homozygous black cow, all calves will be black.

Dilutor - If mated to black cow, you might get a grey calf.

• Feeding arrangements available.

• All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions of the American Simmental Association.

• We will be selling 100% possession and reserve the right to retain 1/3 semen interest on all bulls selling, with the option to collect 100 units for in-herd use only. This will be done at the seller’s expense and the buyer’s convenience. Please contact me if you have any questions.
