Exclusive Genetics - 2014 Sale of a Lifetime

Welcome to our winter Million Dollar Bull Calf Sale, featuring the greatest genetics we have ever offered for sale. This is due, in no small part, to the addition of lots entered by the D&H Cattle Company and Gene Baker’s Homestead Genetics. I welcome them and am excited about what this means to the competitive growth of the Million Dollar Bucking Bull Championship!

I also want to take this opportunity to thank Jerry Rush, the owner of Sycamore Springs Ranch, for hosting this auction in his sale ring. It is without a doubt one of the finest rings in the country and a perfect setting for this sale. Jerry has become a major player in hosting events at his Ranch and I acknowledge him on behalf of the industry for his leadership role.

I am pleased to offer for sale today calves that are packed with Houdini genetics. I have taken personal pride in watching Houdini genetics reign supreme in the Million Dollar Bucking Bull Championship program since its inception in 2011. As a matter of fact, at the 2013 MDBBC that took place this past December during the NFR in Las Vegas, every bull in the Top 10 had Houdini genetics in their DNA! I am extremely proud of that.

I want to be the breeder that can claim to be the first that raised a bull directly outside of the Exclusive Genetics program to win the Championship! I have put together 10 lots, all that I feel are capable of winning the MDBBC in 2016. I hate to see these cows and MDBBC certified bull calfs leave my ranch, but Billy Jaynes asked me to sell pairs so that others could raise them theirselves.
