Jonathan & Joy Arhart Wyatt, Will, Jesse, Anna and Josie
We’d like to thank you for your interest in Arhart Farms bulls and welcome you to our 45th annual bull sale here at Arhart Farms. It’s been an exciting year for the cattle industry, with record-high calf and bred female prices, along with promising futures for fat cattle. The market continues to reward high-quality cattle, and we’re confident this year’s group of bulls will help you produce the kind of top-tier cattle that positively impact your bottom line.
This year has also been one of growth and change for our family. My wife, Joy, and I officially took over ownership of the seedstock herd this past year. As I reflect on this transition, I can’t help but think of the many lessons I learned growing up working alongside my dad, LaVerne, and my uncle, LeRoy. Today, Joy and I have the privilege of raising our children—Anna, Wyatt, Josie, Will, and Jesse—on the farm, teaching them the value of hard work, faith, and carrying on the family tradition of raising quality livestock.
You’ll notice some updates in this year’s catalog. We’ve added more performance data for our bulls by enrolling our herd in the Total Herd Enrollment (THE) program through the American Simmental Association. This program provides valuable information that not only helps us as seedstock producers but also helps you, our customers, in improving your herds. By combining the strengths of the Angus and Simmental breeds with data-driven decisions, we remain committed to raising cattle that deliver results for your operation.
If you have questions about any of the bulls as you look through the catalog, feel free to give me a call or stop by the farm. I’d be glad to show you the bulls in person ahead of sale day and answer any questions you might have.
The sale will be held at the farm on March 1. Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 am, and the sale starts at 1:00 p.m. We sincerely appreciate your time and interest in our program and look forward to seeing you on sale day.
We invite you and your family to join us for a Steak Sandwich Dinner starting at 11:30am.

HOW THE SALE IS RUN:
At Arhart Farms, we conduct our bull sale in a way that reflects how we prefer to buy bulls — with transparency, simplicity, and integrity. We do not use bidder numbers, and the process is straightforward to ensure a comfortable experience for all buyers.
On sale day, bulls will be available for viewing onsite, where the sale will take place. Interested buyers are asked to write their name on the sale board next to any bull they wish to bid on. The sale begins promptly at 1:00 p.m., with bidding starting at the listed base price for each bull as noted in the catalog. We will bid between the names on the board for each bull. Buyers have the option to retract their name from the board at any time before bidding begins on that specific bull. If you did not end up getting your bull in the bid, you may place your name on another bull for a bid.
We invite you to arrive early to view the bulls and enjoy a meal with us — lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m..
For those unable to attend in person, we are happy to contact you during the sale when it’s time to bid. Please reach out in advance to make arrangements.
We look forward to partnering with you and helping you find the right bull for your operation!
