Greetings from our place to yours, As I sit down this afternoon to write, I am reminded of how fast time goes by. I had hoped to have this done a month ago. There are so many things that ply for our time, as I reflect on what is really important: Faith, family, friends, and a race well run.

First of all I would like to thank and praise the Father and His precious Son Jesus Christ for His amazing sacrifice at Calvary and resurrection for salvation, cleansing, healing, restoration, and righteousness, which He made available to you and me and His precious unchanging word and power to keep us until we finish the race on earth or are caught up to meet Him in the air, and also the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. I did nothing to deserve or earn it, it is freely given to all who are willing to believe, receive and trust in His finished work on Calvary. He has delivered me from alcohol, and drug addiction in 1982, sustained and kept me through the loss of my fist wife, cancer, drought, grasshoppers, storms and many seemingly helpless situations. I have a Friend in Christ, who sticks closer than a brother. A song comes to mind by Emmy Lou Harris, “Where Could I go but to the Lord.” (Bing it!) I Love Him! My heart cry is that if you don’t know Him, is that you will receive the Precious gift He provided for you, It is the most important decision you will ever make, I also need to thank my wife Cindy for the support and input, Our children, Christian and Grace, who work tirelessly for their “Pa,” know their cattle well. They don’t need tags or tattoos. They are tremendous young cow pokes.

I want to thank all of the customers though the years for your interest and support we appreciate your business very much. We are like a good cow horse, we aim to please. We have been quietly raising quality Gelbvieh cattle for over thirty years. Sometimes I joke that we are the best kept secret in the business. I would like to see that change. We have watched fads come and go, EPDs format change three times and herd assessments go from $1.00 per head to $25.00. We strive to raise trouble free, quiet, consistent, and middle of the road cattle that will work in our and your environment. They are performance tested. This year’s offering includes 23 black and 11 red, 6 which are two year olds. Some are Balancer®. They are truly a very solid set of bulls. Some are capable of going to work in seedstock operations, making valuable contributions.

They have been fed bull challenger, with 3% extra fiber and are presently out in the pasture. 11 yearlings tested positive for homozygous black, all yearlings are homozygous polled except PTL7E and PTL60E. They are bred with a balance of calving ease, with modest birth weight, growth, maternal ability, with good disposition and very adequate performance. Bred for modest lively calves at birth, and will add pounds at weaning time that the feeders will like. As a group, they exhibit modest but very adequate stature. Excellent length and depth of body…. nice thick cattle. We go to bed at night- we don’t babysit at calving time, all bulls sell Private Treaty. Satisfaction guaranteed, and all bulls are registered. darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your 9

ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”
