TRAXINGER SIMMENTALS 2018 Bull Sale will be held on Wednesday, February 14th starting at 1:00 P.M. In this year’s group are some new genetics along with the proven sires that we have used in the past. All bulls are solid colored (red or black) with several homo-polled and several blacks that are tested homo-black plus some Reds for dilution gene. Most of the test results are in the catalog and the few remaining will be posted on the web site when they come available.

DV Auction will assist us with the sale again this year. The support group for DV Auction can be reached at 402-316-5460. Please visit with them before the sale so you can be familiar with the process and to register if you want to be a bidder. This does require high speed internet and instructions to access the web page can be found on pages 5 and the inside back cover.

Jeff Thomas (406-581-8859) and Colton Buss (605-214-3532) will both be helping us with the sale again this year. They will have viewed the bulls prior to the sale and can help with your selection.

Both of these cattlemen have an astute eye for cattle and you can feel confident with their appraisal. They both tell it like it is, and we do guarantee their selections so buy with confidents.

We encourage you to view the bulls prior to sale day and visit about your selections. If you need addition information on any bull in the offering please contact us. If time permits stop in, kick through the bulls and have a cup of coffee with us.

COLOR & POLLED GUIDE

Homozygous Black - All calves will be black if mated to a black or non-dilutor red cow.

Heterozygous Black - If mated to a non-dilutor red cow ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red.

Homozygous Polled - All calves will be polled.

Heterozygous Polled - If mated to a horned cow ½ of the calves will be polled and ½ will be horned.

Non-Dilutor - If mated to a heterozygous black cow, ½ the calves will be black and ½ will be red. If mated to a homozygous black cow, all calves will be black.

Dilutor - If mated to black cow, you might get a grey calf.

• Feeding arrangements available.

• Delivery options available.

• All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions of the American Simmental Association. (Available upon request.) At no time shall Traxinger Simmentals be responsible for more that the purchase price of the animal.

• We will be selling 100% possession and reserve the right to retain 1/3 semen interest on all bulls selling, with the option to collect 100 units for in-herd use only. This will be done at the seller’s expense and the buyer’s convenience. Please contact me if you have any questions.
