Retained Interest: Sellers will be retaining 1/3 semen revenue sharing interest in every bull selling unless otherwise declared. Full possession and salvage value belonging to the purchaser unless otherwise stated.

Health: All lots are AM, CA & NH free by pedigree or test.

All bulls have passed a fertility exam and have been vaccinated. All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment.

Liability: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk, May-Way Farms, Flory & Associates and the Overbrook Livestock Commission Company assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur.

First Breeding Season Guarantee: All bulls selling for over $3000 are fully guaranteed the first breeding season. A breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following the first turnout of the bull. If a replacement bull is available, he will be provided or if the buyer prefers, credit toward one bull will be given in the following sale, less salvage value of the injured bull. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian, Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage.

e would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our 5th Annual Bull and Female sale. We appreciate you taking the time to look at the bulls we have to offer.

It has been another great year in the cattle business, even with a mild slide in cattle prices. Times are still good with all things considered. Once again, we feel that we have produced a top set of bulls that should work for you in most environments and scenarios. We feel we have a top set of performance bulls this year to try to help you achieve those weaning weights that are so desired.

A quick note about the bulls… The fall bulls were crept for 45 days and then weaned April 1st. After weaning, they were grazed on the home fescue pasture and fed 2.5 pounds of a 16% supplement daily. This allowed us to monitor their health and watch eyes daily throughout the summer. The Spring bulls were grazed on fescue/brome pastures with no creep and weaned the end of September. Both sets of bulls were introduced to a ground hay, sorghum silage and protein mix at Thanksgiving. The yearling weights on the Fall Bulls could have easily been much larger if fed throughout the summer.

Our Bulls are developed on pasture all the way to sale date. We feel that the exercise is important to help the bulls stay athletic, but remember these are growing bulls until the age of three. We strongly encourage feeding them when not in use for the next year or two; this helps to maintain and maximize your investment. We are a family-run cattle/row crop operation with help from Jason’s father, Stan, and our 26 year dedicated “hired man,” Todd Howard. These cows and this farm is our life.
