Classic FM presenter John Suchet joins the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra to enchant us with the stories of some of the best loved music of the 19th century. From the instantly recognisable Blue Danube Waltz to jaunty and highly spirited Tritsch-Tratsch Polka, two generations of the Strauss family, steeped in tragedy and feuds, wrote beautiful and enduring melodies at a time of political chaos and upheaval. Tonight we step back in time to enjoy the soundtrack and story of a Viennese society that danced and drank champagne, seemingly without a worry in the world. – Tickets £15, £20, £26, £31, £40 £7 under 25s, students and claimants Booking fees may apply*
