NAMe: Gandalf BreeD: Akita AGe: 11

Gandalf is a smashing all-rounder, sedate and easy to walk. He is 11 years old now and quite typical of his breed in that he is happy to say hello but won’t go out of his way to do it! He enjoys a gentle fuss and cuddle and still likes to play with his toys and get a little giddy. He loves to be outside and will happily laze in the sunshine. Gandalf will happily walk with other quiet dogs but isn’t interested enough to want to live with one, he’d be happiest as the only dog at home. He is house-trained and can be left alone for a few hours, but prefers company. Gandalf can live with children of late teenage, as he’s looking for a quiet life at his age. If you think Gandalf could be the four-legged friend you are looking for, you can find out more by visiting Dogs Trust Merseyside’s page at www.dogstrust.org.uk. You can also follow the doggy ‘tails’ on Twitter @DT_Merseyside and Instagram, @dogstrust_merseyside. This is Eddie, he’s almost a year old and will need a home without young children. He had some health problems when he came in but we’ve resolved those now. He’s very friendly and still plays like a kitten. If you think you could offer him or any of our other cats the home they deserve, then please do get in touch! For adoption enquiries please contact Garston Animal Rescue on 07745 167 170. Many thanks to The LINK for their continued support in helping us to find homes for stray and abandoned animals in Merseyside, we couldn’t manage without you.
