A Big Thank You from Marie Curie

The end-of-life charity Marie Curie had its annual Great Daffodil Appeal boosted thanks to the tremendous support of people across Liverpool last month. To mark the launch of this year’s appeal, Marie Curie created a daffodil artwork made of 4,129 LED tea lights (see pictured) – representing the number of people Marie Curie looked after across its nine hospices and in private homes per month last year. Collections held at Morrisons Belle Vale & Speke across the first 3 weekends in March raised over £8210 and collections in ASDA Hunts Cross on 25th/26th March raised over £1375 with all funds going towards enabling Marie Curie to care for more people living with a terminal illness, and their families.
