Welcome to the first Summer Communication letter for summer 2026! We are excited that you are a part of our Lumina community.
Brottier Hall
Brottier Hall is a housing option located right on campus. Brottier offers the convenience of apartment-style living in the heart of the university community. Students in their Junior & Senior years, and Graduate or Master's programs, are eligible to live in Brottier Hall.
McGinley
Hall
McGinley is our newest building located on Forbes Ave. The building features a variety of amenities. Students in their Junior & Senior year, as well as students in their Graduate or Masters programs are eligible to live in McGinley Hall.
St. Martin Hall
St. Martin Hall offers a living experience for sophomores. This studio apartment-style provides students with increased independence while still being part of the on-campus community. Each unit includes a bathroom, kitchenette, and modern furnishings.

Summer Communications will be sent over the course of the next few months and will provide information about all 3 of our buildings. Please see the following page for upcoming dates to ensure that you find the information that pertains to your building.

Move OUT Reminders
Residents should anticipate maintenance happening throughout the building and within units after becoming newly vacant as we are prepping the buildings for the next year! Reminders: Turn in your key to the front desk in labeled envelope in the red key box, complete move out form, don't leave anything behind!
In building moves will take place 8/3-8/7.

If you are picking up after office hours, please let us know so that we can put it in the Amazon Hub for you!
Move IN Reminders
No parking on Forbes Ave., please be mindful of construction. Please park in the small parking square next to McGinley Hall (Enter on Forbes ave.) Please do not park for longer than 1 hour/ be mindful of others moving out or in . The lot will be monitored. Sign up for a parking spot here!
Open Streets Pittsburgh will be hosting an event on Sunday, June 28 from 10 AM to 2 PM. th
As a result, Forbes Avenue from Downtown to the Armstrong Tunnels and including the Armstrong Tunnels will be closed to vehicular traffic.
We do not reccomend any move ins on this day due to road closures.

ADDITIONAL UPDATES!
BH Circle will be closed JUNE 8THJULY 8TH due to construction on McAnulty. Residents please be aware of noise and altered traffic patterns during this time. As people move out, maintenance will be entering the unit to touch up paint and turn vacant bed spaces.
Early Arrivals
On both Friday, August 15th and Monday, August 18th from 9:00am - 4:00pm we will welcome residents needing to move in early. Please fill out the early arrivals form.
Everyone must fill out the form including; students wishing to move in early, RA’s, Orientation Team, student employees, etc. There is a $50 fee for an early arrival.

Brottier Parking Garage
Applications will be sent to current leaseholders for potential renewal in the coming days. The applications will then be available to all beginning on July 1st at 12pm. The leases will be valid from August 23, 2026July 19, 2027. The total cost of the garage permit is $1696 and will be billed in two installments.
McGinley Bike Room
McGinley Bike Room applications are now open on CampusLink. Permits for the bike room are free and leases run from either July 1, 2026-May 31, 2027 or August 23, 2026- July 19, 2027.
Be sure to fill out the move in or move out check list in your Entrata Portal!
Wifi Information
Coming Soon! The Brottier Hall WIFI Network update will begin June 8th! Please monitor your email for details.
Our residents have shared their frustrations with their WIFI experience in Brottier Hall. As a result, we are collaborating with Duquesne University’s CTS to provide our residents with an updated WIFI network! !
OPENING SOON!
YoBrew, the new retail space in Brottier Hall, will have a soft open in May and fully open in August. Breakfast menu item suggestions are welcomed.

Sending Mail Addresses
Please do not send any mail or packages to your building prior to moving in! You will need to sign up with the Amazon Locker link sent by Lumina. Summer residents in Brottier and McGinley Hall may continue receiving mail to the Amazon Hub located in their building!
