Approximately 30 days prior to your lease end date, you will receive a formal notice with information about moving out properly St Martin Hall residents, please expect this notice in April. On this date, Brottier and McGinley residents will receive information about move out procedures as well.

Residents moving within the same building must be available August 3-7, 2026 and submit a Lease Extension Request if needed They will be notified when to pick up their new key and will have 48 hours to move out of their 2025–2026 apartment. If they cannot follow this timeline, they must move out at lease end and return when the new lease begins Moving out early means they cannot move back in until the new lease start date.

Brottier Hall's Parking Garage is accessible around the clock for residents with a parking permit.
Residents interested in applying for a parking permit must apply. Online applications will be hosted on CampusLink and open to residents on Wednesday, July 1st , 2026, at 12:00 PM. The annual cost is $1,696. spaces are limited and assigned based on application time, so apply early!
Residents currently holding a parking permit and wanting to renew for 2026-2027 year will also need to complete the application that opens July 1st , 2026 on CampusLink. You will then need to return your old parking pass to receive your new 20262027 parking pass between July 17 , 2026 and July 31 , 2026. th st

A guarantor on a lease is a person who agrees to be financially responsible for the rent and any damages if the tenant cannot pay. They act as a backup, promising the landlord that the lease obligations will be covered if the tenant defaults
You can complete your lease by digitally signing it via the email sent to you by Lumina. Your guarantor will also need to complete the digital signing before it is complete.
Yes! If you are renewing your unit, you can stay over the summer If you are not renewing you must be moved out by your lease end date or request a late move out.
If you live in Brottier Hall, there is available parking under the building. Please fill out an application here! If you live in McGinley or St.Martin Hall please reference the Duquesne parking rates and garages

You can submit a maintenance request through Entrata. Click “Create Work Order” and fill out the form based on the maintenance issue that you are having

The Lease Transfer Process: Tips to Help You!
There are various reasons that you may be interested in transferring your lease For example - Are you graduating? Studying abroad? Are you having challenges with your roommate? No matter the reason, the resident will continue to be financially responsible for their lease until a successful lease transfer occurs.
1) WHAT'S THE REASON?
It costs $150 to transfer your lease. Additional fees may apply if you transfer your lease prior to September 1. Departing residents will see this charge on their DU student account AFTER a completed lease transfer.
2) LEASE TRANSFERS COST MONEY.
Stayinyourcurrentunitthroughtheendofthelease.
3) END DATE. START DATE.
EachofthefollowingoptionsrequiresyoutocompleteaLeaseTransfer RequestusingyourMultiPasscredentials(locatedonourCampusLinkpage under"Forms”)andworkwiththeLeasingAgent.
The original lessee will finish their lease at the end of the month. The new lease will begin their new lease on the first of the month. This applies to all months, with the exception of summertime.
