Anchor House Weymouth, Dorset

Weymouth, with its Georgian seafront overlooking an award-winning sandy beach, is set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This picturesque seaside town has everything to make a truly delightful holiday. There is plenty to see and do. With attractions such as Sea Life Park, Portland Castle, RSPB Lodmoor Nature Reserve and the Brewers Quay complex, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

First-class facilities for disabled people make it easy to get around. The entire town centre is wheelchair friendly, with ramps

to the beach and free beach wheelchair attachments available in summer – but book ahead! From April to October a land train suitable for wheelchairs operates along the seafront.

Anchor House is our accessible selfcatering holiday accommodation in Weymouth. This semi-detached Victorian house with a garden is in a quiet location close to the promenade and town centre.

It has been specially adapted to make it wheelchair-accessible, yet it retains its period character.

Anchor House, Weymouth, Dorset Anchor House is a large property that sleeps 10 people making it ideal holiday accommodation for groups.

The ground floor has a twin wheelchairaccessible bedroom with an en suite shower. A lift gives easy access to the first floor which has two twin wheelchair-accessible bedrooms – each with an electric profiling bed – a double bedroom and an accessible bathroom. The top floor has two single bedrooms, a sitting room and a shower room. Bed linen is not provided.

The specially adapted, fitted kitchen has heightadjustable work surfaces and is equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Living space is plentiful with a comfortable lounge and separate dining room. Outdoors is a secluded patio and garden and off-road parking.
