In New York, a metropolis full of different cultural backgrounds, due to the lack of cultural resources and language barriers, ethnic minorities don't have the sense of belonging of their own culture.
"Culture catcher" enable the existing public resource(library, museum, non-government organization,etc) be better utilized by citizens,provide users with a platform for cultural activities systematically and intuitively. Enhance the sense of cultural belonging and identity,and can protect the inheritance of culture traditions. At the same time, it provides a platform for those who are used to multiculturalism, all users can find and organize the cultural activities easily .
Users could searching or viewing in the activities list page, and also could capture activities of interest in real time when you open "catch mode" map,while walking or driving. For more engagement, all the saved activities, self-published activities, finished activities and credits earned could be share to other social media.
We speak the different language and have different background, but we could become friends and partners when we participate in the same activities.
Age structure of Chinatown demonstrate a constrictive pyramid which means the population is generally older on average. A majority of them are poor at using electronic product and have language barrier.

Language always carries meanings and references beyond itself: the meanings of a particular language represent the culture of a particular social group. To interact with a language means to do so with the culture which is its reference point.
Language is culture and culture is language. Language can mark the cultural identity, but it is also used to refer to other phenomena and refer beyond itself, especially when a particular speaker uses it to explain intentions. A particular language points to the culture of a particular social group.
Libraries & Gentrification
Libraries increase property value and the burden on lower-income residents. As property values increase, so does the cost of rent, which in turn makes it more likely that lower-income residents will receive notices of eviction.
However, libraries also serve as a neutral space for low-income residents. Because of this dichotomy, it is important to examine how LES library branches can benefit lowincome residents facing eviction as the neighborhood gentrifies.

AUTISTIC CHILDREN ACTIVITY CENTER

When I just started this project, I already knew that I would design for a special group. I thought a lot about how to use space to satisfy their special emotional needs. But after some research about autistic and spending several days with them, my focus changed.
The autistic children, at ordinary times, behaves the same like the healthy children. They do something we cannot understand or dangerous just because the signal their brains received is different from us. And they do not understand the laws of the society. By far there is no medical treatment to cure autism. It is not their choice to be different from us and they should not be treated differently. What they need is also a space to get happiness and play safely . Then I tried to create a space that made the children feel relaxed and inspire them to express their feelings by adjusting the spatial scale, processing special materials, making space color screening, lowering the noises, adding beneficial voices and designed a partially-sheltered area for the children to hide themselves when they want to stay alone for a while.
In the end,I use space design to solve their common problems and use some Human-Computer Interaction methods to meet their personalized needs.

The autistic children have some commons problems,like lack of sensory perception and balance ability,have trouble in emotion, language and social activities, have poor safety consciousness.However,they are individual and has their different characteristics.

REMARKS: Different children has different reactions and needs to environments,after inputing one child's characteristics and assessment date,system could give parents different indication in the playing process,match suitable site and indicate parents if their childrren enter a dangerous place for them.The child will be warned like that "this place should be accompanied by parents".In addition, every area's characteristics, assessment data and whether it has risk to make the child angry will be show in their screen.

Take "social media" as the means to realize the renewal of the landscape space of the historic block
Tianjin is a typical representative of China’s urban development. After the second Opium War, nine countries set up concessions in Tianjin. After decades of development, the concession of Tianjin is the most important part of Tianjin’s modern blocks, which is also the core of the existing city. However, there is a great contradiction between the blocks in the former concession and the function of urban development.
Currently, residents living around the central garden of the French Concession are now facing contradictions like this. The mission of the stocks in the site conflicts with the mission of the community. The nature of the site is intangibly defined by the surrounding industry. The shops, traffic, and public space in the blocks have to serve for the surrounding central business district, government agencies, and super shopping malls.Residents' activity streets of the community has become Take-out riders' tracks, bus lanes, even parking lots .Meanwhile, the own characteristics and history of the streets have been ignored.
We use several methods to make the disordered space become orderly and organized to meet the needs of tourists,local residents and office workers. The communication and activity spaces were returned to the residents, some service spaces were created and the edge of spaces were changed.

FLOOD PROTECTION ALONG THE SAI KUNG RIVER(Ho chi
——西贡河沿岸洪涝保护设计（水上贫民窟区域防洪和经济发展）
In the process of urban expansion, the contradictions between urban life and ecological environment became increasingly sharp. People do harm to the ecological system, and meanwhile, the bad natural conditions also influence people’s lives.
We selected the place where the main river channel and the branch river channel converges as our design site. The over-water slums happened to locate here, which have the most severe flood problem. Due to the rapid development of city and the war in the history, a large of amount of population was forced to move out from the urban areas and live in the areas near the river channel. They established slums above the river, which had very severe potential safety problems and did harm to local ecological system. We worked out methods including elevating the terrain, making embankment defense system , creating adapting space, cleaning the sludge, establishing an island, and expanding the drainpipe net to deal with the problems that resulted in flood. We continued to excavate the river channel by using the original building foundations, make river diversions, have the slums out of the original place, and establish some floating buildings and wharfs, bring in new business models to reshape this area and make it more livable.Using its advantaged fruit and coffee trade to give this tourism city a local characteristic flooding markets.

In our daily life, we see,touch and use many materials, but did we use our heart to feel their own life? each matetrial have its own character and emotion, they live inpedently. They could make people feel relax, calm down, have passion or feel nervous. And in different time ,different people would hear different voice from them. This project will bring people to a short tour of three different material's world , feeling their emothion. And after this tour, hope visiters could use heart to see material's glamour in their real life, feeling a different world.
This project wants to recall a thinking about ourselves and how to face our real demand. It's a project mainly focusing on the psychological and space reflection of human thinking.I got the inspiration from the firm"The Danish Girl" ,the firm tells the process that the first transgender decided to be true to to “herself” and received the transsexual operation after some struggles in the mind when “he” found "his" inner woman attribute.
The director use color changes to bring us to the emotion changes .As for a designer,I try to make 3-Dimensional shots to inspire visitors to move forward and think in the short space.
