Our Mission Statement

Little Player Magazine’s mission is to provide a safe, fun and advertising-free reading experience that parents can feel good about giving to their kids.

Why playing old games is worth your time...

With the upcoming release of the NES Classic Edition, I really got to thinking about the games that I loved as a younger player. To this day, they have had a major impact on me and I and decided to share that joy and wonder with you (our readers).

Many of the modern games you like to play have their roots in what is known as the 8-bit and 16-bit era of video gaming. These games were more simple in terms of graphics and sound but were in no way lacking in fun.

In fact, it can be argued that some of the older games are even more fun because they are simpler and easier to grasp and play!

In the same way we value classic music or films, classic or “retro” video games should be respected and admired and most importantly played. Don’t let the simple graphics or sound keep you from experiencing and enjoying these amazing works of digital artistry and storytelling.

Ask a trusted adult what video games they enjoyed when they were your age and you’ll be in for a real treat.

The editors and I had such a blast putting this issue together and really hope you love it as much as we do.

Ever wonder what kind of videogames your parents played when they were kids? This November, you’ll be able to find out the answer when Nintendo releases the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition! This mini version of Nintendo’s classic NES console from the 1980s has 30 great games built right in – no cartridges needed! You don’t need to dig up an old television to play it either, as it connects right to your family’s HDTV with an included HDMI ca- The NES Classic Edition comes with Super Mario Bros.

1, 2, & 3 and Legend of Zelda 1 & 2 as well as 25 other ble. It also comes with a power adaptor and one fun and amazing games built right into the system!

Classic Controller, which is just like the classic NES controller that came with the original NES. The Classic Controller will also work with your Wii or Wii U, so you can play all of those great retro Virtual Console games with a retro controller! And if you have either the Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro for the Wii, you can use it with the NES Classic Edition.

The NES Classic Edition comes with one Classic Controller. You can buy another controller for about $10 and it will work with the Wii or Wii U for games on the Virtual Console.

4 Suspend Points!

If you need to stop playing in the middle of a game, you can save your progress at one of the four suspend points in each game.Then you can pick up right where you left off later (no passwords needed!) Just hit the Reset button to bring up the Home menu, choose a spot, and save!

3 Different Display Modes!

The NES Classic Edition has three display modes to choose from. There’s the CRT Mode, that adds a scan-line effect to the screen. That makes it almost look like you’re playing it on a 1980s TV! 4:3 Mode shows the original aspect ratio used by the NES. This has a nice, sharp look to it! And the Pixel Perfect Mode shows every pixel as a perfect square, which lets you see what the games looked like when they were originally designed!

Another neat feature is that you can scan QR Codes from the Home menu with a smart device. This lets you pull up the entire original instruction manual to read!

Sorry! We don’t have a visual example of Pixel Perfect Mode this issue. Most retro gamers will probably prefer the 4:3 Mode.

Balloon Fight In this easy to learn action game you are a little character with two balloons attached to your helmet. The object of the game is to defeat the enemies by popping their balloons. In addition to 1 and 2-player modes there’s also a Balloon Trip mode in which you collect balloons and avoid lightning sparks.

Bubble Bobble This game stars Bub and Bob, two dragons that can blow bubbles to capture their enemies. Each screen has it’s own challenges to overcome and power-ups to collect. There are over 100 different levels to keep you entertained as you try to rescue your girlfriend from the Cave of Monsters.

Castlevania Join Simon Belmont on his mission to defeat the evil Count Dracula in what many consider one of the most loved series in all of video gaming. There are many weapons to collect as you face platforming challenges and tough boss battles along the way to facing Dracula himself at the top of his castle.

Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest Go on an all new adventure with Simon Belmont as he searches for the five cursed body parts of Dracula so he can defeat him once and for all. This game is a blend of action and RPG with day and night modes that change as time passes. Be sure to talk to the villagers because they give you helpful tips.

Donkey Kong This is a near perfect version of the original game straight from the arcade featuring Donkey Kong and Mario (formerly known as Jumpman). There are four different stages to master as you try to rescue your girlfriend Pauline from the mischievous Donkey Kong again and again.

Donkey Kong Jr. This time you play as the son of Donkey Kong as you rescue your father from Mario, who has captured and caged Donkey Kong as punishment for kidnapping Pauline. As before, there are four different challenging stages to master as you try to free your beloved papa from Mario’s clutches.

Double Dragon II: The Revenge Fight the bad guys and help Billy and Jimmy bring justice to the streets in nine stages of nonstop arcade style action. In this sequel to Double Dragon you can either play on your own or coop with a friend. You can even choose if your attacks hurt each other or not by selecting a different mode.

Dr. Mario This fun and simple puzzle game features gameplay similar to Tetris but with a unique twist. Capsules of medicine drop from the top of the screen that you can rotate. Match up four or more of the same color it eliminates the viruses that take up space on the screen. This is a very addictive and fun puzzle game.

Excitebike Hop on your motorbike and race against the clock or compete with other riders.

Jump over ramps and hit turbo to go as fast as you can, just make sure your bike doesn’t overheat. You can try the awesome Design Mode and create your own tracks for you and your friends to race on for endless fun!

Final Fantasy If you like a good story and really long adventures then this is the game for you. This is one of the most celebrated RPGs (Role Playing Games) in the history of gaming. Create your team and set off on an adventure that will challenge, thrill and entertain you for many hours, days and even weeks!

Galaga In Galaga you control a spaceship and shoot at enemies that swarm towards you in outer space. Some of the enemies try to capture your ship instead of destroying it. If they do, you can get it back to double your firepower! See how good you really are in the Challenging Stage!

Ghosts ’n Goblins Help Arthur, a brave knight, overcome level after level of monsters, zombies, and other creepies to rescue Princess Prin Prin from the clutches of the awful demon king. This game is a real challenge and has classic platforming that will keep you coming back for more!

Gradius This is one of the greatest shooters in all of 8-Bit gaming. Pilot the Vic Viper and blast wave after wave of alien invaders as you fight your way to the core and save the Universe. The power ups in this game are amazing and there’s even a famous secret code to help you!

Ice Climber You play as Popo or Nana and use your mallets to make holes in the ice to climb higher and higher up the mountain.

Each level has eight layers and a bonus area. It may look easy, but it’s sure to challenge you the higher you go. Lots of enemies will try to stop your ascent!

Kid Icarus You control Pit, a little angel with a bow and arrow on a grand adventure to find the three sacred treasures. There are many ways to power up and different stores to buy items from. This is a very tough game from start to end, fortunately you have four suspend points to use.

Kirby’s Adventure Join Kirby on a real adventure through seven amazing worlds. Fight off enemies and inhale them to copy their attacks and abilities. Defeat the mini-bosses and bosses and recover the stolen Star Rod. This is considered one of the greatest games for the NES. Mario Bros.

Mario and Luigi have some work to do!

The sewers are plagued with all manner of creatures and pests. It’s up to the you to rid them of these pesky vermin.

Hit the pests from below and then jump on the platform and kick them into the water. One or two players can play!

Mega Man 2 Mega Man 2 is the follow-up to the original Mega Man that launched in 1987.

You control Mega Man as he once again tries to foil the plans of the evil Dr. Wily. Take on numerous foes to gain access to their weapons to ultimately defeat Dr. Wily and save the world!

Metroid Metroid is a side-scrolling science fiction adventure game where you play as Samus who is on a mission to take down the evil Mother Brain. Samus explores the planet Zebes looking for lost power-ups to help stop Space Pirates from taking over the galaxy.

Ninja Gaiden Follow Ryu Hayabusa, a ninja who travels to America after receiving a letter from his missing father in this side-scrolling adventure. Ryu must stop the uniting of two statues that if united could end the world. This game is full of action and extremely challenging.

Pac-Man You control Pac-Man through a maze of dots while trying to avoid the ghosts who attempt to get in your way. In order to advance to the next stage, players must eat them all. Power pellets are scattered throughout to aid our hero by allowing him to eat the ghosts.

Punch Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream You play the role of Little Mac who must work his way up the ranks in the boxing world. You will face boxers who all possess very unique fighting abilities.

Punch Out was an instant classic of the 8-bit era. Fans loved rooting for Little Mac on his quest for boxing glory.

StarTropics StarTropics is another fun action-adventure game. It features a character named Mike who uses a yo-yo as his main weapon. Rescue your uncle, Dr. Steven Jones, who has been kidnapped by aliens and find out other secrets and mysteries along the way.

Super C Get ready for eight stages of pure explosive action! Play as Bill and Lance as they set out to destroy the vile Red Falcon, a group of aliens trying to take over the Earth. Battle the huge bosses on each level and be sure to collect the Spread weapon to make things easier.

Super Mario Bros.

The game that made the iconic plumber famous. You play the role of Mario, the fearless plumber who is on a quest to save the Princess from the evil Bowser.

With the help of simple power-ups, Mario will jump his way through 32 levels to the final encounter with Bowser.

Super Mario Bros. 2 The sequel to the very popular Super Mario Bros. featured updated graphics and a new villain, Wart. New enemies were introduced and this time Mario is not alone He is joined by three companions who all possess very unique abilities to aide him on his adventure.

Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario Bros. 3 is considered one of the greatest games in the series. It is most notable for the introduction of the Tanooki suit which gave our hero the ability to float and soar in unique ways and even turn into a statue. A new art design also made this sequel stand out.

Tecmo Bowl This was a time when football games were simple. Your offensive and defensive plays are limited to four choices.

The twelve best teams of the era were represented with all the star players from their respective teams. It was the best football game of the 8-Bit era.

The Legend of Zelda This title paved the way for adventure games of the 8-bit era. You play as Link who is on a quest to save the beloved princess Zelda. You will face off against the evil Gannon to save the land of Hyrule from his evil darkness. Beat the game for a super cool surprise!

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link Zelda II was one of the most highly anticipated sequels ever on the NES. Instead of the original’s top overview, it opted for a side-scrolling view and the introduction of RPG elements like leveling up your character. The final boss encounter was is huge surprise!

Super Mario Galaxy is a masterpiece in gaming.

Everything to it’s brilliant level design and alluring soundtrack, memorable bosses and creative worlds.

It also attributes to my childhood, being the first game I ever beat, thus holding a special place in my heart.

You can download Duck Hunt on the Wii U. The game is easy to learn and I like the sound effects. It is also easy to control with an original Wii controller, using it to shoot and even to select the level and difficulty without picking up a controller again.

SYSTEM SPOTLIGHT The Xbox One S is finally in our hands and it was definitely worth the wait. Microsoft has managed to shrink the original Xbox One by 40%. It’s sleeker, a bit more powerful, has an internal power supply, and packs a few more features than its predecessor.

The real question is, “Should I upgrade if I already own the original?” That really depends on whether or not you want 4K capabilities.

The new Xbox One S can stream 4K content and act as a 4K BluRay player. The controller has also been redesigned as well. It now features a textured material for a more solid grip during those tense gaming moments.

Pricing is determined by the hard drive space you desire. The limited 2TB version retails for $399.99, the 1TB version retails for $349.99, and the 500GB version retails for $299.99.

Sony PlayStation 4 Slim Sony has released a restyled version of its popular PS4. The specs are exactly the same as the original. The differences are mostly visual but the fan is significantly quieter. It now has a matte finish instead of a glossy one. The light bar has been removed as well, and has been replaced with a small light near the new physical power button. The controller has also been slightly tweaked. The PS Slim will retail for $299.99 which includes a game. A limited edition version is also available for $449.99.

Sony PlayStation 4 Pro The PS4 Pro is nearly upon us and the new specs look fantastic.

If 4K gaming and HDR TV are important to you, then you should definitely consider picking up this console when it launches on November 10th at the retail price of $399.99.

The PS4 Pro will feature enhanced specs to improve your gaming experience. To take full advantage of this new power, you will need a 4K television. With the a 4K display, the graphic quality is absolutely amazing! If you plan on trying Virtual Reality (VR) gaming, the PS4 Pro is the best system to support that kind of experience.

If you already own a PS4, you have to ask yourself if 4K gaming is worth it to you. Remember, without the proper display you may just be better off sticking with the original or the new PS4 Slim.

The successor to the Nintendo Wii U has finally been revealed.

Initially codenamed the Nintendo NX, now known as the Nintendo Switch, is set to release in March 2017. It is a very unique approach to gaming. Nintendo has designed its new system as a home console with the ability to go portable.

At home the Nintendo Switch will sit in a Nintendo Switch Dock that stays connected to your television. In this mode, the system will act like any other home console displaying the image on the television screen. Lifting the system screen out of the Nintendo Switch Dock will instantly put the system into portable mode. To do so, you will want to attach what Nintendo is calling the Joy-Con controllers to both sides of the screen.

While in portable mode, players have many options for a controller. A single player can use both Joy-Con controllers in each hand or two players can each use one of the Joy-Con controllers each.

PORTABLE MODE

Nintendo will also sell an optional Switch Pro Controller similar to the one out now for the Wii U for players who prefer a bigger, traditional controller instead of playing with the Joy-Con controllers.

Nintendo still hasn’t released the specs of the Nintendo Switch at the moment or battery life once you decide to go portable with it, but we expect at least 4-5 hours on a full charge. We do know that there will be no disc drive this time around. The Nintendo Switch will use cartridges as their media format. In a preview video of the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo revealed gameplay of many Nintendo fan favorites such as a new Super Mario, Mario Kart, Splatoon, and the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

No price point has been announced at the moment, but Nintendo has historically kept the price down to make it affordable for most families. Nintendo has promised to release more information as the March 2017 release date gets closer.

The system that made video games popular again!

It was 1985 and for almost three years the video game industry in the USA had practically disappeared. Can you imagine life with no new video games? Fortunately Nintendo figured out a way to get the Nintendo Entertainment System into stores. They not only made history but filled millions of children with joy and wonder.

The NES first came out with a toy robot named R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) and a light gun called the Zapper. Both could be used with several games but the game that made the NES a hit was the original Super Mario Bros. The NES went on to sell 34 million systems in the U.S. and almost 62 million worldwide.

It is still considered to be one of the most admired and respected consoles of all time! Without the release of the NES there’s a good chance we would not be playing video games today. I encourage you to play the NES and it’s amazing library of games. If you can’t get time with the original, see if you can experience it with the NES Classic.

Get ready for Mario’s first mobile adventure!

Super Mario Run is an all-new side-scrolling platformer being developed for mobile devices from Nintendo. This is special for many reasons, most notably being that this is the first time Mario has ever appeared on another gaming device not made

by Nintendo.

The concept is straightforward.

Mario runs automatically from left to right and with just a tap of a finger anywhere on the touchscreen, you can make him jump. If you want to make him jump higher, all you have to do is hold down a bit longer on the touchscreen. The goal of each level is simple. Players will want to collect as many coins as they can, and reach the flagpole at the end of each level before time runs out.

There are other modes too.

Nintendo is very proud of its Battle Mode. Battle Mode will have you competing against friends and people around the world to beat their high scores for a particular level. To accomplish this, you will have to collect the most coins and impress the most Toads. You will know you’ve impressed a Toad with a daring move because they will appear instantly on the bottom of the screen.

It is important to point out that in Battle Mode, there is no flagpole to signal the end of a level. The level ends once the timer runs out. In the matches that you win, the Toads you impressed will become residents of your Mushroom Kingdom and the coins you’ve collected during the match can be used to customize it.

Super Mario Run is scheduled to release on IOS devices this holiday season in December. It will eventually be released for Android devices, but a specific time frame has not been announced.

Now you can create and play Mario levels on the go! By Tim Wilkus Super Mario Maker 3DS is the follow-up to the immensely popular game on the Wii U that came out about a year ago. The concept was simple and fun. For the first time ever, Nintendo gave you the tools as a player to create your own levels set in the Mario series ranging from the 8-bit classic look of the original that launched on the NES to the unique color palette of Super Mario World that launched on the Super NES. There are some differences between the two versions.

Although it will come with around 100 courses just like the console version, you won’t be able to just search for the console version courses on the 3DS by course ID. The good news is that you can still share your 3DS created levels via StreetPass.

Just like on the WIi U, there are four looks to choose from and create with!

Co-operate with other players to create levels!

A unique new feature only available for the 3DS version is the ability to cooperate with other users to create levels. Details on how this will be accomplished are not yet known at this time, but this certainly sounds like an exciting new feature.

It is important to note that all the tools from the Wii U version will be available except the mystery mushroom.

Build your own levels and share them via StreetPass!

Nintendo also pointed out that the 3DS version will only be playable in 2D. No specific reason was given, but this is probably to save memory.

Super Mario Maker 3DS is scheduled to release just in time for the holiday season on December 2, 2016.

Arriving next year in what Nintendo is describing as an open-air adventure is the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is unlike any other chapter in the series. Players will be able to explore the land of Hyrule like never before whether it be in towers that hover over the land, or mountains as far as the eye can see. Nintendo promises if you can see it, you can climb it! Players will be able to choose their own path to get there as they battle a variety of enemies along the way.

Watch out for groups of enemies throughout the land!

Your journey will be much harsher than it was in previous installments of the series. Link, our hero, will now have to source out his own food and ingredients to maintain his health and build potions to aid him on his journey. It won’t be easy. Link will have to hunt down the various beasts of the land in order to collect these valuable resources.

Speaking of enemies, they will come in a variety of forms. Unlike previous games in the series, enemies now travel in packs or small groups. They are no longer scattered randomly throughout the land.

Battling and defeating enemies will require specific strategies and weapons. These weapons might have to be crafted, or collected from fallen foes.

Hunt and cook your own food to regain your health!

Join up with animal companions to help you defeat evil!

Weapons will not be Link’s only concern. Traveling from place to place throughout the different environments will require preparation as well. Heading into the cold mountain landscapes? Bundling up in warmer clothes will help keep you moving. Scavenging the desert? Lighter garments will be better suited. Nintendo has told us that some clothing will even grant Link special abilities such as the ability to run faster or sneak along stealthier.

For players that love a good challenge, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has you covered. Nintendo promises over 100 shrines or trials to challenge players in any order that you want. Solving the variety of puzzles inside will reward players with special items to help you on your quest.

Nintendo has been silent about Link’s new quest.

Very little of the backstory has been revealed thus far.

In previous games of the series Link was off to save Princess Zelda from the evil Gannondorf and restore order to the land of Hyrule by collecting all three pieces of the triforce. The plot of Link’s latest adventure is still surrounded by mystery.

Amibo collectors will be happy to know Link’s latest adventure will feature amibo support. Nintendo is planning on launching a special Wolf Link amibo when The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches early next year. Wolf Link will attack enemies on its own and help you search for items. At this time, no word on which other amibo will be available for use in the game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be released in March 2017 for both Wii U and the newly announced Nintendo Switch. Differences between the two versions are not known at this time, but players can expect a similar experience on each system.

Shelly is excited about the holidays as there are many great games (and systems) coming out! She’s been playing Paper Mario Color Splash and Candy Crush Soda which is a fun way to pass the time.

Jason is super excited for Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the Nintendo Switch!

Those aren’t coming out until next year, but at least he has the NES Classic Edition to keep him busy through the holidays!

Tim has been reliving the memories of his younger days by playing tons of retro classics. When he is not gaming, he is catching up on his reading.

Spending time off-screen is important for everyone.

While the NES Classic will surely rule Martin’s gaming time this holiday... he can’t stop thinking about the amazing new Nintendo Switch and playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild anywhere and everywhere.

Hannah would love to get a real puppy one day.

Brody has been spending the fall working on his schoolwork and fundraising for a trip to Washington D.C. He is excited about the Nintendo Switch and what kinds of games he will be able to play on the go.

Aiden has completed a successful football season and is looking forward to starting basketball. He’s really into playing Rocket League for the PS4 and watching Minecraft videos on YouTube.

This was my first time playing a Paper Mario game and it was a lot of fun! Everything in the game looks like paper or some sort of material. Once I learned the game basics, I took off running to save the world. I did get stumped in a few places, but worked out where to go next.

This is a fun game for all ages!

I really had a good time figuring out the puzzles and enjoying the story. There are some truly funny moments that made me laugh out loud. Great visuals are complemented by easy to grasp yet challenging gameplay. Very kid friendly!

I absolutely adored the unique style in Color Splash, especially the paper and cardboard backgrounds, creative level designs and old-timey music, combined with fun RPG battles and many worlds of adventure to explore. However, it failed to match up story-wise with the previous Paper Mario games, giving it a slight down-grade.

I really love this game! They took the tried and true formula of Pac-Man and made it full of action and new gameplay twists. The game is really fast and will challenge your skills at first. The graphics are awesome and the boss battles and eating a ghost train are epic! Even the transition to the next board is amazing!

This is a solid game. The adventure mode uses a three-star grading system that helps you learn the new gameplay mechanics. The graphics are vibrant and the action is fast-paced. Most importantly, the controls are really tight. I like that the pacing of the game isn’t too overwhelming for younger gamers. Highly recommended.

Pac-Man Championship 2 is nowhere near the arcade version. It is 100 billion times better! The look and sound of it all is so awesome! You don’t just get the power pellets and then be done with the level. In this version, it tells you what you need to do for each level. I had a lot of fun with the new style of gameplay!

My first impression of this game was it looked like a super futuristic Pac-Man. This is not like any ordinary Pac-Man you see in the arcade, the graphics are really cool. I also loved the faster speed of the gameplay. The price is low so it is good deal. I recommend this game to all Pac-Man lovers and everyone else too!

The game looks and sounds really good, but the gameplay was a little difficult to learn. There were some places where I got stuck which could really frustrate younger players. I wish I could have gotten further in the game without it being a struggle.

To say that Oceanhorn is inspired by Legend Of Zelda games would be an understatement. The game had everything from game mechanics to subtle references that are a wink and a nod to recently released games. The graphics are simple and very stylized, but the animations and the controls are clunky. The only upside is that it’s the closest one can get to an Xbox Zelda game.

This game is a lot like The Legend of Zelda.

It is a puzzle adventure game where you try to find out what happened to your dad.

You earn experience to move up levels and can go to different islands within the game.

The boat mechanics are cool and it is fun to shoot while sailing. Although I was frustrated at first, I really liked this game after I learned to master the weapons and use the items.

They feature plenty of weird and unique characters to enjoy and an orginal story that will keep you busy for hours. The game is huge with an enormous map to explore and many quests and minigames. Remember, to befriend all the Yo-Kai you will need to get both carts.

I’ve played Yo-kai Watch 2 and I just can’t leave my house without it. I mostly bring my 3DS to my brother’s football practice otherwise I play it all day in my room. There are a lot of instructions and reading to do but it is fun to play. This game is for the kind of people who love Nintendo 3DS games.

Yo-Kai Watch 2 is highly reminiscent of Pokémon, however, it takes the concept and changes it in a very creative way by implanting the Yo-Kai, mythical monsters who are always up to no good, into the real world. It does a great job of mixing the typical life of a 5th grader with the adventure and RPG aspect, which is why it earns my seal of approval.

I liked this game because you can catch Yo-kai and bugs. You can design your own character and re-name the specific Yo-kai.

Yo-kai can battle each other and I love that part of the game. The detail of the outside world and houses is very cool. I really recommend this game to people who like cartoon graphics and lots of detail.

This game has a neat concept, to piece together shapes to tell a story. The game started out puzzling (no pun intended) but I figured it out. An issue with piecing together the shapes is you have no guide other than an outline of the finished picture. The game quickly became difficult and there are too many ads.

Pixelgrams has a simple concept - drag and drop the blocks to complete the puzzle.

The word simple would define the entire game, to the graphics, puzzles and story, but it’s harder than it looks. There are many solutions, each one more difficult than the last. It challenges your mind in every way.

Pixelgrams is one of those puzzle games that get a little tricky when you get farther into it. There is a little cat named Kitzel and he will give you hints when you get stuck. I went a little too far and now I am completely stuck which is why I rated this game a little lower. Overall, it is fun for a short period of time.

In this game, you have to assemble the pieces into a picture based on the word hints. I really like the 8-bit style and the challenges to your mind that this game gives you. It is easy to control and once you get the hang of it, it’s really fun. The cat, named Kitzel, is very cute and has lots of expressions to guide you.

This is a fun little time waster. It’s very easy to get the hang of. I had fun trying to beat my friends’ high scores and climb up the leaderboards. Being able to unlock cool new items adds a very nice touch of personalization too. You can even buy the unlocks, but make sure you check with a parent first!

This is a cute side-scrolling game available for free on Android and iOS. You attempt to maneuver Henry, a cute little cloud, away from various obstacles by controlling the wind with a swipe of your finger. I found this a bit challenging at times mainly because the screen did not respond to my inputs in a timely manner.

Henry the Cloud is a free mobile game and it is pretty fun. The concept is to make a path of clouds so Henry can watch out for the mountains and clouds.

The only thing I don’t like about the game is it’s difficult on a small screen.

It’s hard to see anything. You should try it on a tablet to make it easier to play.

I found this game to be as frustrating as Flappy Bird. You just move around in a cloud avoiding things. I did not like the controls, graphics or sound effects.

I was easily frustrated and did not have much fun with this game even though it is free. I think it is very boring and isn’t something I want to play again.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 - DS

Super Mario 2 is fun to play and also very challenging. The good things are the power ups and all sorts of boosts such as fire balls, racoon, super small, super big and indestructible. There are different worlds including snow land, hot land and Egypt land. The last level is almost impossible and very frustrating and confusing.

This game is as awesome as you would think it is. There are so many new things to try such as blaster battles, multi builds, and multiple interactive environments. My personal favorite thing is the new characters and seeing what they can do.

The only disappointment is some glitches that require you to force shut down the console.

Mario Kart Double Dash - GC

Roblox is a game I really like and think is really awesome. I like that you can favorite every level you want to play again and again. I also like how it is like video game LEGOs and how no two worlds are the same. It is like playing a new game every time.

My favorite part of Mario Kart Double Dash is Mario, Luigi & Princess because they are cute.

My favorite track is Baby Park. Mommy’s favorite track is Daisy Cruiser. Mommy likes Princess & Daisy. I am better than Mommy! Daddy likes Wario and Waluigi. Daddy’s favorite track is Peach Beach. I am better than Daddy, too!
