Giving in our community has played a central role in delivering the education and opportunities that have shaped the Class of 2020’s experience. The gifts we have received come in many forms. From the dedicated volunteers to the generous gifts of financial resources. Very simply, Little Flower Academy would not be the school it is without the blessings of a generous community. Thank you.
Annual Fund From retreats and Campus Ministry to enriched course offerings, annual giving has enriched and sustained all aspects of the student experience each and every year. Parent giving makes up more than 70% of our Annual Fund, so thanks is owed widely to the people enjoying this live-streamed graduation experience. Thank you.
Campus Enhancement The school campus has changed dramatically in the past five years. A successful Technology Campaign transformed access and use of technology in the classrooms. We have added one of the most progressive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Labs of any high school in the region. Our Library has been reenvisioned and moderinzed. We made siesmic improvements, refurbished our Counselling Department, introduced new athletic equipment and diligently kept up with building maintenance. This was all funded solely through philanthropy and impacted every girl’s experience. Thank you.
Volunteerism Not an event goes by at the school where there is not a group of volunteers quietly working behind the scenes. Whether it was helping with Walkathon, laundering table cloths, serving at a Father Daughter Dance, or helping to prepare for a Grandparent Day Liturgy and Reception, nearly every family at this graduation has given their time to make their daughter’s experience better. Thank you.
The Parents’ Auxiliary The organization of nearly every volunteer and the generous support coordinated by the Parents’ Auxiliary is an annual blessing. Though their gifts are so much wider, their generosity is fully on display today, with so many of the student awards made possible through PA gifts and their critically important financial commitment to graduation events. From her first day to her last day at LFA, the PA has helped to make your daughter’s experience special. Thank you.
With Sincere Thanks…
