WORKING WITH PUBLIC SECTOR The Great Recession, austerity measures, and increasing demands on public resources over the years – it’s fair to say that the public sector has never worked so hard just to stand still. Indeed, recent IFS studies show that funding, in real terms, has been cut by 21% across most councils in England and Wales since 2010.
